The only caveat being the expense of buying extra Joy-cons (between $50-$80) and the game library(which is mostly rehashes of current and previous generation games), the Switch is a great console to just sit back and unwind on, whether alone or with groups of up to 8 people playing (depending on the game). While the graphics and load times aren't up to par with other modern generation consoles, it's the Switch's accessibility and portability that make it stand out, not to mention the incredible replay value that many of Nintendo's first party games have (Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate).

Gaming device was perfect for our kids - while pricey there are good game options as different prices. We like the security options for controls within the device. Just wished it would auto turn off when time limit is reached. Otherwise a nice device to carry and keep the kids busy anywhere.

We all know the Nintendo Switch is a great system and this bundle has a game which is grand though it's a digital copy. The system is portable and can be set on your TV. I've traveled with it and havent even used the TV connection so it hold s to the idea of mobile gaming greatly.

I’ve been on the fence about getting this for a while, finally gave it and I’m glad I did. With tons of fun games and the ability to play it as a portable or hook it up to a tv, as well as being able to use better controllers with it, it’s definitely a purchase worth making

My 7 yr old son isn't a huge video game fan, but he likes the Switch. It's easy to use and is portable...which is why we chose it for him. Easy parental controls, too, with the app. We haven't tried the online gaming yet. Would recommend for kids of all ages.

I love this game console for my son. You can take it anywhere like the old gameboy & still play it. It is all the fun games & many can play at once. The only issue is this is my 2nd console because the 1st one stop charging & now my 2nd one is like it doesn’t hold the charge for long. Also since I replaced mine last year my blue controller it came with doesn’t work anymore & the same happened to my sister & one of my cousins. All of our blue controllers just stopped working. This was crazy I wonder is that a defect.

The Nintendo switch is by far one of the best portable systems out! Plenty of games to choose from and the graphics are amazing! This purchase came with a included downloadable game Mario kart 8 deluxe which is extremely fun to play!

Great family friendly bundle. Had people wanting me to sell them it, lol. Last one when bought at Christmas time. Wife likes using it like a game boy, I prefer two player with controllers. Recommend not buying the cheaper option of controller.

Mario games take me back in time. It is timeless and always have a good time playing Mario kart. The Nintendo switch is amazing - the portable feature is a game changer. The versatility of this in comparison to the Wii U definitely is an upgrade. I highly recommend.

I bought this for my 9 year old daughter and I couldn’t be happier with it. She couldn’t be happier with it. It’s so easy to use and transport(with a case) and so much fun for her. Graphics are great and the games are fun. I love watching my daughter play it.

The Switch is a great little gaming console! My son absolutely loves playing the Switch. We have purchased a carrying case for the Switch and the games to better protect both items. Be prepared to spend some extra $$ on the games, cases, in-game purchases, potential storage space, etc. I would also recommend using the Parental Controls app to keep an eye on play time and set some limits. Overall it is a fun gaming experience!

We decided to go ahead and get our kids the switch for Christmas this past year. At first they didn’t realize what it was, but once we took it out to play... they Love it!! Mario cart is our family favorite!!! Especially since you can have 4players at a time!

This console is wonderful. The kids can take it anywhere, travels well, so portable. Also, one kid uses it to play Fortnite when the TV/xbox is in use by their brother. Definitely worth the purchase price. But definitely buy the screen protector.

Bought it for my 14 yr old nephew for Christmas. We had a TON of snow so they only had 10 days of school in the entire month of January. He never put this down. He loves it and it kept my sister (his mom) sane. Great purchase on Black Friday.

The Switch is super fun! We have a great time as a family enjoying games of Mario Kart, Mario Party, Smash Bros and many more. No issues with this so far, about 6 months later. If you're thinking about purchasing one, do it. You'll love it!

You would think Nintendo lost its touch and falls short from other major console systems, but the exclusive games on Nintendo are out of the world. This game console works for all ages and is a great gift for anyone. Cheers!

Great console at a great price (during the holidays) my kids like the easy to use and the variety of games available. A little pricey to buy games for it but pretty much every console has expensive games.

The Switch has become the console that gives you great games wherever you are, whatever the time and whomever it is you want to play with. You might not want it as your primary gaming system, but you’ll definitely want it as your second.

This was my son's Christmas present, and it has been a hit for everyone in our house. The flexibility of the console and its ability to quickly and seamlessly transition from handheld device to docked (playing on our TV) modes is impressive. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the video quality of the games looked when blown up from a small screen in your hands on to a much larger HDTV. I was expecting a lost quality upscaled picture quality, but did not find that to be the case. It plays well as a handheld, with the joycons attached, or detached. It plays well when docked, using USB controllers or the detached joycons. Several games make great use of the joycons' motion controls, reminiscent of the Wii controllers. It's a great system that everyone in our house has enjoyed playing.
