My son has the wiiu. He needed this controller to play many of the games. We bought an off brand first and it broke within the first couple of days. This one has been holding up for a couple months now. The wireless connection is consistent.

kids love the fun Mario colors but a little pricy others were less expensive but not a cute

Beautiful remote. We have fun playing with it. It will be great if they come with out buying batteries.

Picked this up for the Wii U. I got Mario, my brother got Luigi. Both are awesome, so much better looking than the stock controllers. They have a Peach one as well, we think they need Wario or someone like that to complete the set.

I'm glad I don't have to learn a new interface for the Wii U. However, it would have been great if Nintendo could integrate the 3DS as a Wii U controller. Best option if you're going to have to replace all your old Wii controllers!

Liked that they were different colors to choose from so we didn't get the players mixed up.

Basically, this is nothing more than a Wii Motion Plus remote with a fancy paint scheme. We got the Luigi version because our son loves the color green. It's nice that the price of this remote is the same as the solid color versions.

Bought as an 'open box' item because it was cheaper than an new controller. Works like it's supposed to.

The customer service rep was very helpful in finding the information I needed. Found out I was getting the wrong item and she went out of way to show me what I really needed and why. Thank you Best Buy Reps for doing a great job.

The wiimote is what you would expect from Nintendo by now. It does it's job, but now it can do the job with a fresh coat of Mario paint. Pretty standard by now: Nintendo loves to promote accessorizing, don't they?

I didnt really need more wii motes but I saw these and had to buy a matching Mario/Luigi pair. I Really like how they have the same color scheme as the characters even down to matching the color of their overalls. Really fun design.

Its nice to have a remote that isn't one color. Only problem is needing two ...one for each if my boys.

Had to buy some new replacement remote controllers for the WII and thought about getting off brand ones and after reading some of the reviews glad I did not get off brand. These work great and know how to operate these new ones.

I purchased the remote to replace the original that came with the game. It works flawlessly.

Perfect for the kid who's recently discovered Mario and has fallen in love. We're original Wii owners, so it's nice that it has MotionPlus built in. Not bad that it's also Cubs colors either. #GoChampsGo lol

Do you need an imposing looking Wii remote to remind the kids whose boss and who really owns the Wii U system in the house? Buy this. There’s no mistaking to whom Wii remote this belongs.

We absolutely love this product and the color. Kids fight over the blue controllers.
