My Wii is a few years old and I could not get this to stay connected. It would initially connect, but then immediately lose connection.

I love the design of this controller. It is the best controller I have ever used to cover all types of games. The motion is accurate. Don't make the mistake of purchasing an off brand controller. They don't work nearly as good, and mess up all the time. The only bad thing about this controller is that it has to have AA batteries to work. I wish it had a rechargeable battery inside.

I thought nintendo would have some up with an easier controller in 20 years, but not so. Disappointing

Before buying a Wii remote I searched on Best Buy for a reasonable price, and one that was really rated excellent from many people. I went into Best Buy yesterday with my mom to buy another Wii remote, and at first the price was $39.99 in the store but then I remembered that online it was listed as $31.99, so I pulled my phone out and showed a worker who was helping us and before we knew it they changed the price! When I got home I set up my Wii remote, by following the instructions of the booklet that came with it, and then in no time I was all set to go! As soon as I started to play, I was very amazed like many people had said about the great comfortable grip it has in your hand. Also it really makes you enjoy game play more better! You don't have to worry about the battery life, because when your finished playing your Wii and you turn it off the remote instantly shuts off on its own! I saw pink too in the store, but I'm not a fan of pink, black is my favorite color! Go to Best Buy and get this remote, because I'm telling you its wonderful, and it won't let you down!

my son does not know how to use it for certain games.

I had purchased 3 of these for my son's birthday party so he could play some of his multiplayer games with his friends. They come with rubber covers to help with the abuse they will take. I had purchased a WiiU for my son awhile back but never got around to getting the additional remotes until recently. Depending on how much they are used, I would recommend getting the charging station which comes with two chargeable battery packs with charging station. With the said, the batteries we have put in them have yet to see their end so we haven't used it yet. Be sure to use the strap while in use. If you have seen any of the videos online of people taking out their tv because it slipped out of their hand, you will understand. Overall, really bright colors, nice quality, and the kids love being able to use their favorite character controller.

Having multiple users in household, having color options is quite a help when they resume after a break. It is easy to ID the controller an individual has been using. Charge strength/duration is great.

This wii mote is basically lasts forever as long as you don't drop it. It has the motionplus built, so you won't have compatibility issues in the future.

Luigi remote!!!! Much better than Mario. They need to expand the line and make a Wario. Its a typical Wii remote just in Luigi's colors and it has a L on it. Nothing else special about it, its just a fun variation to the regular ones. Also, looks good in the Luigi steering wheel.

seems like these remotes just aren't made well. Each one we buy never seems to work right and fails to connect.

Perfect for Wii U and original Wii. Motion control is nice.

We have two old remotes with the add-on wii motion plus and I can say that these newer style remotes are awesome! Not having that clunky add-on that makes this remote so much easier to deal with when switching between motion plus and non-motion plus games. We also got a pink one. I plan to replace the older remotes with a black and white one as well, so we have 4 different colors. The different colors makes the distinction of which remote belongs to you so much easier.

I was worried at first that this specialized remote wouldn't be as good as the real ones, but that was not a problem at all! We've got both the Mario and Luigi remotes and have been using them for almost two years now. They still work great!

If you have a bunch of old Wii remotes from your original Wii and some money to spare, you won't be disappointed by throwing it towards getting these new themed ones (Mario, Luigi, Princess#. They are seriously awesome. Pros: [+] They of course work with both Wii and Wii U systems [+] They include the Wii Motion Plus built-in without requiring the separate bulky adapter. Many newer games require this feature and won't work with the old Wii remotes #this was a huge selling point to me as those Motion Plus adapters looked ridiculous. I ended up selling mine and replaced them with these) [+] Sync button is accessible without removing the battery case! This was a huge design blunder of the original Wiimotes. Especially when you have your remotes in silicone sleeves; syncing/resyncing controllers was a pain. Now you can sync them without removing the battery cover. [+] The theming is brilliantly executed. The colors perfectly match Mario/Luigi/Peach's wardrobes. The + and - buttons are gold/yellow like the buttons on their overalls, the red/green matches their shirts, and the back blue part matches their overalls. The 1 & 2 buttons are a nice-looking brown instead of plain black. They even color matched the included silicone sleeves and wrist straps! Everything about them feels extremely high quality. Cons: [-] Really can't think of any! They designed these very well. Perhaps my only suggestion would be to revise them in a way to improve battery life a bit? But that probably won't happen any time soon. Other: [*] Google the Yoshi version they have in Japan! It might even be my favorite. It's a shame they haven't released it in the U.S. But maybe some day? [*] Hey, while we're at it, why not release a Toad/Daisy/Rosalina version since they are all playable characters in Super Mario 3D world? Conclusion: Easy 5 stars! Get all three if you can! Makes it even more fun to play Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros. U, Super Luigi U, and Mario Kart 8!

As a gamer for 15 years I've been through my share of controllers, both on and off brand, and I can tell you that it is ALWAYS worth the cost of getting a controller made by the console manufacturer. Nintendo is especially good about the quality of their controllers. The MotionPlus feature also adds some extra flexibility in the motion control for the newer games on the Wii.

Very cool color, very light, motion plus is great, and the speaker is louder and clearer sounding than ever. The motion plus remote almost makes the numchuck obsolete. It comes with the silicone protection cases which saves the consumer money.

I love this Wii remote because I don't need to add the older "plus" attachment to it since it's already in it! The new black color is great! Works excellent and can be used horizontally or vertically in game play. The little speaker is nice and the rumble works great.

I was torn over spending a few more bucks for the remote plus or just buying the add on. I am not torn now... It is so much easier to handle and you don't have to pull the remote apart for different games. Spend the extra $10 and just get the Remote Plus
