We had to purchase the "new wii remote" for the Wii U and figured we should get a red one so we knew if it was for the old wii or the new wii

Looks and Works as expected, the grandkids each have their own controller now, less fighting :D

A great looking Wiimote with Wii Motion Plus built in. It comes with its own silicon case so you don't have to worry about kids dropping it!.

I'm a huge Mario fan and this combined with my Luigi and Mario controllers makes for a cool set.

Much more accurate in responding to movements. Wii motion plus is worth it. And the design adds a cool personalized touch.

I use this controller the most for old school nintendo games

My 6 year old daughter loves Mario and Princess Peach so she had to have this control its the same as the rest but pink.

It's what you expect. A Wii Remote (that comes with a plastic sleeve for more grip) and it works. What else can you ask for?

Nothing unusually fantastic about this remote - works just the same as other Wii remotes. Color makes it hard to lose.

This is your typical Wii Remote just with a Mario theme. If you have a Mario fanatic in your house and need a new remote, grab this one.

Good to have different colors/characters Wii U controllers so everyone in the family can have there own favorite controller to use.

The remote works as required. But I don't like the fact that I have to spend hundreds of dollars on tempted to play games on the WII U. If it weren't for the kids, I still wouldn't own one, I didn't like these remotes from the beginning, the one factor that I had thought fixed it was the pro remote, but a lot of games still require these.

It makes playing Mario Kart more fun, and the color is tops.

I love this control because its very responsive when you play the dance games, perfect, light weight, and compact size fit in your hand.

Now that we have the motion plus remote our little guy can play bowling from the original wii and he is soooo excited!
