This is a good controller for the Wii or Wii U. I like that Nintendo allowed backwards compatible controllers unlike Sony and Microsoft. Our five year old loves the matching Mario and Luigi controllers. Functionally they are no different than the solid colored controllers so unless you like the Mario design I would not recommend them. The price is a little high for the product and that's why I couldn't give it five stars, but that would hold true for any consoles controllers in my opinion. Bottom line...get it if you have kids who are Mario fans. Otherwise stick with the plain black controllers.

Cool color, no issues with the remote. Easy to use

I highly suggest this remote however I find that the Wii U Pro controller is much easier to use for games such as Super Smash Bros, or any combat games. This controller is great when you get the hang of it, and is the original controller from the Wii so I highly suggest it. However u do feel that if you are into combat games or just want an easy controller sticking with the Wii U Pro controller yet if you are playing games like Mario Cart 7 this may even be better for you.

One of the great things about the Wii U is that it can play older Wii games in addition to the current Wii U titles. This controller works with both Wii and Wii U games, and is intuitive and easy to use. If you don't already have controllers for a Wii system, I recommend adding this when you purchase a Wii U.

This remote is in a different color then the last review. The Junior High School summer campers love the game room, so we purchased a couple of WII games and the extra remotes. Now several kids can challenge each other, they have their own remote while in play, and it alleviates the fights over the remotes

Great control we got this for my child it's the latest model so he can play it with the old games and new games that are just coming out. It comes in three colors red & blue 2nd one is green and blue just like Mario & Luigi colors and the third one it's pink like peach just for girls. Great product too.

This is a solid, responsive controller. The quality is what you would expect from our Japanese friends, and the Princess Peach theming is exquisite. Bravo, Nintendo; spend the extra $10 and avoid the cheap knockoffs! Only complaint is they didn't have the matching themed Nunchuck in stock.

I had been trying to buy this Luigi style Wii-mote for quite a while and it was always out of stock, so I was happy to finally get it, it works just like a standard Wii-mote but has the nice green facer/blue back cover color scheme.

Well, it's a lifesaver for Mom since my son took over the main controller for the Wii U. He accidentally broke my mini red one and we could only play 3 people at a time. When my husband came home with this, we could all play. The fact that it is colored means NO ONE can touch Mommy's controller.

I have bought several controllers for various Nintendo products throughout the years. The official Nintendo accessories always last longer than any other brand out there. I have even purchased refurbished Nintendo accessories that last longer than other brands. Highly recommend this controller.

I have a 4 year old that tests the limits of this remote. It can take a beating and still work flawlessly. She does not drain batteries quickly like the aftermarket ones. it has the wii motion plus inside it witch is great. it fits inside my old wheel, and my old nun-chuck works in her.

Basically the same remote as a regular Wii remote. However, It's a cool green keeping with Luigi's outfit color and if you're getting it for basically the same price as a regular remote, which I pretty much did, it's a no brainer to go with it. Besides, it's Luigi, need I say more? lol

The controller is fully functional, aesthetically appealing, and comes properly packaged. I have had no issues with this purchase, and love the Mario design. When paired with the other versions in the set, these are always a fun conversation piece when friend visit.

We have had tons of after market fails with controllers. This one is great. More sensitive and unexpected surprise was the rubber cover. Kids drop it and it is fine. Plus my girls LOVE Peach. They get to be all girls and the boys don't try to take their controllers.

my son loves the color of the remote. once again the only downside is that I couldn't find the wii u remotes in the local best buy and TWO associates told me they did NOT SELL wii u remotes...needless to say I found it myself. great product....worthless customer service.

I needed an extra remote for my wii and this was just perfect. The color looks as promised and it comes with the plastic covering. It's worth the money and I have had no problems with it since I've been using it to play games like just dance and super smash bro's.

These controllers just reaffirm that there's nothing as good as buying the brand name! Whenever I've purchased knock-off controllers, I've been really unhappy. This one works great and seems really sturdy. I expect to have this controller for a long time.

I bought the Princess Peach WII controller as a gift for my granddaughter. She loves it and feels so special as she now has her very own controller. No more fights with her brother or other family members.. she has her own. It works great and is a perfect gift.
