This game is really tough but it's satisfying when you finally beat the mission.

Featuring a beautiful steelbook featuring dual protagonists plus the voucher code for a "First Samurai" armor and season pass, separately. Gameplay is solid, more of the first although controls are a bit different now due to more mechanics being introduced like the Yokai form. Still getting used to handling the characters but with time, should be second nature like the first game was. Also, I don't know what's up with Best Buy shipping out special editions in bubble mailers but they need to stop. Most of these are just cardboard and when shipped out, some of them get shredded to pieces. Luckily, mine only had a minor rip on the bottom but Link's Awakening was trash by the time I received it.

If you like Nioh or love challenging games in general, then Nioh 2 is a must.

Nioh is one of PlayStation great action battle , has wonderful graphic !!

Bought mine yesterday. The game took literally 10 seconds to install the disc, and the notification pops up saying: you can play your game now.. what a luxury. The day 1 update is like ~250MB, fastest game to install and faster to start. Loading screens are super fast as they expect you to suffer in this game.. A LOT haha! Still in the first level, but ready to explore all of it!

Nioh 2 is improved in a lot of ways from Nioh 1, so if you like the first this is great. Specifically for the special edition, I thought the contents are worth the extra $20. The steelbook is great, the artbook is a nice (but small) extra, and it comes with a season pass to add a little extra value. All in all, a worthy sequel and a worthwhile special edition.
