    When this show first aired, it broke boundaries and records for cable programming. The early seasons are top-notch and have plenty of twists and turns to keep viewers engaged. Although it tends to get whackier as the show draws to a close, the characters (and the dramatic situations they find themselves in) still keep you engaged.

    The picture quality for DVD is not that bad (I think my TV up converts the quality). The packaging of this box set is neat. The show itself is kinda graphic. I think there are small clips of actual surgeries in the shows. Not suitable for children at all
