I bought it as a gift for my grandson who is away at College in an area where they get quite a bit of snow and some power outages. So now he is ready whenever that may occur.

They light up dark corners where there are no outlets. I have used them to add light to the room when it’s dark and storming to give the baby light to play. We don’t worry about the baby knocking over the table where a lamp would be.
