The Nite Ize - Steelie Vent Kit Car holder is my second purchase of this very reliable, powerfully griping car vent cell phone holder. This purchase was a gift since California passed a law that you could not hold your cell phone while driving, I wanted to gift one to my loved one. The one I use, I use as a rideshare driver and this vent mount works great for reliably holding my cell phone in place while I use my rideshare and navigator apps. Its quick release helps to make use easier and unemcumbered. I highly recommend it!!

I'm really happy that I purchased it. Another device broke and this replaced it. Clipping on the your cars vent and the ball helps with positioning it easily from letter to portrait. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap but effective device to stay hands free.

When I first saw it,I thought "no way a small magnet will work".Then we used it at work,and I was amazed at how strong it was. Well worth the price!!

I have a Galaxy Note 5 and recently realized that there's a big dead zone in the screen when I was trying to use a stylus. Got the phone replaced...and found out that it was not the phone but due to this magnetic phone socket. Great product, but if you have galaxy note series, it does not work with a magnet attached behind.

This product makes it easier to use in the car and on the job cause I can throw it up.

This mount is awesome. The vent clip actually has a lever that squeezes your vent fin making a great connection to your vent. Most vent clips that have a magnet this strong would pull right off when you try to take your phone off, but not this one.
