Total disaster and Best Buy is an awful company to do business with. This is the last thing I will ever purchase from them. The scooter stopped working properly 17 days after purchasing it. When I went back to the store, the told me I had to go back through the manufacturer to get it resolved because I didn't buy the Geek Squad warranty. So now I am stuck trying to resolve my issue with China. Instead of standing by the products they sell. This is why Best Buy will be out of business in 5 years joining Circuit City, The Whiz and all the rest of the lousy electronic stores from yesteryear. I hope Amazon continues to eat your lunch! Crap experience with a crap product sold to me by a crap company!

I mean really hold. The KQi 300P has a kick when you start it up.
First Impressions
The first thing you notice when you hop on the KQi 300P is its solid build. Unfolding it is straightforward, and the scooter feels sturdy and well-balanced from the get-go. The handlebars are comfortable to grip, and the deck is spacious enough to stand on comfortably.
Smooth and Responsive Ride
Once you start riding, it’s a quick and smooth acceleration. It handles well on various surfaces. The 10-inch pneumatic tires do an excellent job of absorbing shocks, making it a smooth ride even over minor bumps and cracks.
Speed and Maneuverability
Its fast and really fast feels exhilarating yet safe. The scooter is responsive to handlebar inputs, making it easy to maneuver. I would be careful in crowds and close spaces. I think it will take a little getting use too
Battery Life and Range
One of the highlights of the riding experience is the impressive battery life. With a range of up to “30 miles” (Im not 100% sure on that) I can see me using this for a week and not charging it. When the battery does need recharging, the process is straightforward, though the 5-6 hour charging time means you’ll likely want to plug it in overnight.
Safety Features
The dual-braking system, combining electronic and mechanical disc brakes, ensures you can stop quickly and safely, even at higher speeds. Just hold on. Newton's First Law of Productivity. First Law of Motion: An object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force. So your body will continue going if you don’t hold on The bright LED lights enhance visibility, making evening rides safer and more enjoyable.
Convenience
Folding the KQi 300P is quick and easy, making it simple to carry into buildings or store in your car. However, the scooter is heavy not for little kids.
The KQi 300P Foldable Electric Kick Scooter delivers a superior riding experience that combines practicality with fun. Its smooth performance, long battery life, and user-friendly features make every ride a pleasant and hassle-free adventure. If you’re looking for an electric scooter that enhances your daily commute or leisurely rides, the KQi 300P is an excellent choice.

The range isn't actually that, unless you go slower than walking speed.
I am having batteries issues as well. I thought of spending more for a better scooter but it doesn't seem to be it.

The NIU-KQi 300P is a decent scooter at its price point. I am overall happy with the scooter and its performance. I have rated its biggest areas on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the best score).
Battery (4/5) - Charging the scooter is simple, if you run the battery all the way down it will take you some time to get back to a full charge. On average, it took me just over 5 hours from a dead battery.
Range (4/5) - A 30 mile MAX range is advertised, I hit between 26-28 miles on average. I am at 6'2" 250 lbs, so I do think my size is why the scooter did not hit the 30 mile range, but it does very well.
Speed (4/5) - Again, due to my size, the scooter did not ever hit the advertised top speed of 20 miles per hour, I maxed out at 16 miles per hour, which is plenty fast enough. The longer you maintain full speed, the faster the battery will drain thus, lowering your MAX range.
App (5/5) - The App is very good. I had no issues using the apps features which have security features, battery info, range.
Safety (5/5) - This scooter has a wonderful daytime running light, a night time headlight, rear lights, and full turn signals. The breaks are great, even at full speed.
Portability and storage (5/5) - It is very quick to lower the handle bars and stow away the scooter, it will fit in a majority of trunks or back seats which make it a very nice option if you're spending the day downtown and don't want to walk every where.

I am highly dissatisfied with the NIU kui300p. The handle design is poorly thought out, making it uncomfortable and difficult to use. Additionally, the battery performance is subpar, failing to hold a charge adequately. Although it features left and right signals, the setup renders them almost unusable, significantly diminishing the product's overall functionality.

The NIU - KQi 300P Foldable Electric Kick Scooter is pretty wow! It's just like having one of those scooters you rent in the city, BUT you actually own it and aren't charged by the minute for it's use.
Assembly was quite straightforward and easy out of the box. A few allen head screws with included tools. Check tire pressure with included adapter. The tires are beefier and more comfortable due to being inflatable to your liking and comfort level. It has hand lever brake controls. Brake lever activated brake lights, rear running lights for safety, head lights, and even built in handlebar turn signals which is switch activated. so it does come with a plethora of safety features.
It is a sold and stout scooter. On my initial ride, I was thinkiing it's alright...I thought it would be a little faster. Upon coming home, I noticed it was on ESave??...Pushed the power button and ESave went away. Gave it another ride and wow....twice as fast. 184lbs and it showed a steady 33kmh for me, I haven't figured or tried to hard for it to switch over to mph. This scooter is the real deal. It is real torquey of the start so be careful to not over twist the wrist on take off. The wheels handle little cracks, dips, bumps and drainage grates pretty well. Honestly, if it were a negative to be said, it's not a little child/kids scooter. But, for me, I love it. It's definitely a big boy scooter.

Not happy with this scooter at all. Pruchased it in December, used it 2 times and it will not charge at all. Best buy will not repaire and does not have a service provider

When you take this NIU scooter out of the box you immediately see and feel its solid and quality construction. With all the features both on and within the scooter, it's clear that NIU takes great care to make a quality product. Set up was easy, you unfold the post and fasten the handlebars using the screws that are provided, ensure the tires are properly inflated (both needed some air, one much more than the other so make sure you check), and then sync the app with the scooter, which paired with my phone without issue. Most of your changes will be done via the app which fortunately is very responsive and works really well. The weight of the scooter is said to be somewhere just under 50 lbs. so it's light enough to pick up and carry short distances. When folded, you can safely and conveniently carry it from the handlebar post.
This scooter is designed with a lot of safety and comfort in mind. It does a great job of making you feel at ease with its different modes and by offering ways to customize various things to fine-tune to your preferences. For instance, changing how much strength you need to push off with your foot to engage the throttle or how quickly it decelerates when laying off the throttle. Starting with the physical aspects, there is plenty of room for your feet so you never feel constricted. The suspension works pretty well, the traction is excellent even over uneven terrain and the brakes are very responsive. Because the scooter slows down significantly when not using the throttle, depending on the surface and incline of the road, you don't even need to use the brakes as much as you would have thought. It makes it very easy to hop off safely. The throttle itself responds well and is comfortable to use. The turn signals and built-in lights are bright, keep you visible, and allow you to ride at night. The dashboard has great visibility day or night, too. All this makes for a very smooth, safe, and quiet ride.
The NIU app is simple to use and has a “Customize Your Ride” setting where certain features of the scooter can be adjusted such as kick-to-start speed, regenerative braking, and cruise control. It also has Dynamic Mode which allows you to set a customized riding experience by selecting the acceleration and maximum speed. The Dynamic mode is one of three ride settings that can be toggled from the scooter’s dashboard. Having a custom setting that is readily available at the click of a button is very convenient, especially when most of my time spent riding is in a residential area where I average about 12 mph, so the sport mode with a max speed of 20 mph is a bit too fast and the e-save mode with a max speed of 9 mph is not fast enough. The other nice feature of the app is the Riding Data which allows me to decide if I want to record my ride. It must be manually selected from the app at the start and end of the ride to track the distance, time, speed, and area traveled. The map does not seem to be reliable in tracking the exact route traveled, but this could have more to do with my phone than the app.
When it comes to power, the NIU doesn't hold back. When that 900w (max power) kicks in, you better hold on. You can reach maximum speed within seconds and it for sure maintains it up hill and over rocky/bumpy terrain. Considering the performance, I think the battery life is very respectable. After putting in at least 3 hours of riding, there is still over 80% battery left. Full charge took about 5 hours out of the box which isn't bad. Performance will vary based on various things like your mode, regenerative braking settings, speed and light usage so it's up to you to determine if the specs are good enough for you. Where I am, there isn't often anywhere to reach 20 mph, let alone consistently so for someone like me, I will get a much longer ride out of it than someone going full speed all the time.
With so much good, fortunately there's just a small list of cons. When the handlebars are up, it would have been nice if there was something in the back to help with lifting. It's great that the kickstand is all metal but it does not have a rubber bumper on the tip to protect surfaces. As for the headlight, it works great as a safety light, but it's not effective for lighting the road so you'll want to buy an aftermarket one to attach if you plan on riding at night. Lastly, whenever you change stuff from the app, it lets off an excessively loud beep that cannot be lowered which can get a tad annoying. Despite these small things, with everything it CAN do, I'm so happy to have a scooter actually meant for adults.
Of course, while the scooter is considered "all-terrain", you should still keep it within reason. Make sure you read the manuals before riding and understand the capabilities and limits. They are quick to read, concise, and simple to understand, but have important information about how to use the scooter and its functions. Maybe even watch a video or two if you are new to riding a scooter. You are a lot more vulnerable compared to an e-bike so you must be capable of both holding on and controlling it. Despite its safety features and a design that helps with ease of use, this is definitely for older teenagers and adults only.

This is my first scooter of this kind and I was interested in it since we have a bigger property that adjoins to my mother in law's property. I will say, I am impressed. Taking the scooter out of the box, simple! Set it on the ground and find the provided screws/hardware, flip of the stem and handle to the correct position and screw in the 6 screws. Done! The tires are already inflated properly and all that is left from here is to take off the remaining foam and padding, plug in the charger and let it charge up. The charger box in the middle has a little LED light to show red for charging, green for complete. This thing holds a charge for a long time, even with 1 or 2 hour sessions a day. I have yet to run out of charge. I did not use the app to learn how to use it. Turning it on, it is set to kph but a couple clicks of the main button, you are on mph. It has a head light and turn signals, just so cool! You will begin in Eco mode, which limits speed to 10mph. Regular mode and you are off to 20mph and this thing is quick. The gas on the handle is very sensitive and can be hard to let go of in an emergency situation. That is my only gripe. I wish the accelerator was different. But, the brakes both work great and I have had nothing but fun with this. Great scooter!!

Unacceptable Shipping Delay on my end. My shipment was flagged as having potential hazardous materials so my money is in limbo and I have no idea what’s going on, absolutely unacceptable.
