First time ever purchasing an electric scooter! Decided to go all out and get the one with all the bells and whistles and oh man is it something else let me tell you. From the premium design and build quality you can definitely tell you are getting your moneys worth. I come from a Razor scooter from back in the day and got one of these to play outside with my young padawan and I absolutely love it! The battery lasts so long and the 23mph you unlock via the NIU app makes you know what it must feel like to fly in a sense lol (of course being in a safe environment). Has 2 modes, E-Save (slower experience 8mph top speed) and normal mode which maxes out at 23mph depending on your app settings of course. What made me fall in love with is its relative fast speed at 23mph and the iconic halo headlight NIU keys onto their electric scooters which makes it such a beauty! Give it a shot! Best friendly budget welcome scooter money can buy!

I have had this scooter now for several weeks and truely enjoy it. Once you know how to use the different modes, it is very practical. A common comment is that the throttle is very sensitive. You have to be careful in the beginning but once you are aware and get used to it, no problem. A feature which is very handy is the cruise control. Spped limits: For beginners set your speed maximum at 14 mph. 23 mph is FAST if you are not used to it. I take my scooter in the trunk of my car on day trips. After folding, it is easy to fit in a small sedan (Corolla), and not too heavy to lift in and out. Halo headlight and blinkers are great at night.

I upgraded to the KQi 300X for my daily travel, and it has been an absolute game-changer. The wide deck makes standing comfortable, the folding mechanism is solid and easy to operate, and the dual disc brakes offer great stopping power. The battery life is very impressive, and being able to customize speed modes in the app is a nice touch. Best Buy had it ready for pickup right away, and I couldn't be happier with the decision!

I bought this online and had it shipped. It came very quickly and nicely packaged. Setup was quick and simple. Tire pressure out of the box was less than 20psi (very low) so I inflated to 45-50psi. I did several rides on paved roads totaling 11miles but noticed a “scraping” sound in the front wheel/brake area. I enlisted the help of AI to diagnose the issues and after I got the scooter off the ground a bit and was able to freely spin the tire and noticed a “wobble” and the front brake scraping every rotation. AI said it’s likely runout and or warped rotor. Given only 11 miles I decided to return it and a different brand. The other issue I had was with the app and map integration. My rides were not being tracked despite ensuring all permissions and settings were appropriate. I reached out to customer support at NIU who did respond quickly but with no real resolution. The scooter itself has plenty of power and acceleration/ torque is almost scary at first but manageable. I really think this scooter could be great if they fixed these few issues. So I won’t give it a really bad review and I might even say give it a try yourself to see how it goes.

For the most part it is a great scooter, but since they went away from the thumb throttle and now have the half twist throttle you must be careful. The throttle is terribly sensitive for the very first turn. I mean it is like a switch rather than a linear curve. I have to make sure my foot is well planted and really grip the handles and try to gently twist the throttle. A few times it has done a wheelie when I was not ready for it. Just plain dangerious and no signs to fix the problem even thought I have brought to NUI;s attention. I did 3D print a mount for a basket.

Great acceleration, good handling and smooth ride. Able to handle all paved roads and small bumps. Would not recommend off road. 24mph, range is half when you dial it up to full speed. Lock mode is cool but glitchy takes a minute to unlock if you are in a hurry.

I’ve had a good experience with the NIU KQi 300X so far. The speed is great and it works well for local commuting. The scooter feels solid and rides nicely overall, although it is still a little heavy to move around. My biggest issue is the acceleration, which feels too aggressive at times and has caused the front tire to lift up multiple times. Aside from that, it performs well and has good speed.

This scooter is seriously awesome. I'm having so much fun riding it around. It's way more convenient than walking or driving sometimes. Plus, it's pretty zippy and easy to handle. Definitely a great purchase!

I really enjoy this scooter. I take it to the office from time to time. It's fast, moves up hills well and has lights (front, brake/back, and turning signals). The display is easy to read and Bluetooth connection to phone is simple. When you get down to about 10% battery life it does restrict the speed for distance purposes. For someone that is about 250lbs, this will move easily for you including up hills. The throttle is probably the only thing i would change. I ceramic coated my paint on it (pictured).

Fast, touchy acceleration, fun. Hoping future firmware updates takes this to 5 star.

For my son and he is loving it every single time! He is not an outdoor person but as soon as het got this, oh he is out and about for some fresh air almost every day. The technology behind this awesome scooter is what he loved the most. He like the app, the comfort and ease of use.

I shipped it in the Philippines. It’s timely because gas price is sky rocketing over there. I ride my e-scooter wherever I go. Very economical and convenient.

All around fun. Smooth ride on the roads. Good brakes when you need them. Only pit fall from my rides, when youre going full speed for a little bit, then stop for a short rest, it wont start back up to continuing unless you restart it, or wait a little bit.

Worth every penny…great range , wonderful ride and nice security features.

Purchased this scooter from Best Buy five days ago my sun rise it to work the first day full charge. He locks the scooter up in the app so no one will steal it now it will not unlock even in the app $1000 scooter is now in operable and the manufacture NIU has horrible customer service they don’t even know how to unlock their own scooters.And BEST BUY Will not take it back…. Do not purchase this scooter from BEST BUY or purchase this brand !!!
