'No Country For Old Men' is yet another film adaptation from the pen of one of Rhode Island's finest writers, Cormac McCarthy. Like 'The Road' the film captures intriguing landscapes with even more inviting human relationships--all with profound depth. While No Country's context is vastly distinct from Road's, the relationships and reasoning therein is where the substance lies. The Coen brothers are custom made to direct such a film and they meet and exceed pretty much all expectation of this novel's adaptation. Before I digress even more, purchase this film for the staggering villain that is Anton Chigurh (Oscar winning Javier Bardem), and the cat-mouse-cop pursuit that goes on between he, Llewyn Moss (an awesome Josh Brolin) , and Ed Tom Bell (an always consistent Tommy Lee Jones). Do yourself a solid and see this Oscar winning film (took home 4 in 2008).
