For those uninformed, "No Country for Old Men" is a modern masterpiece and should be viewed by anyone with even a passing interest in films, end of discussion. The picture and sound quality on the blu-ray are both superb; it really couldn't get any better in my opinion. My only complaint would be that it is a little light on the extras, but I wouldn't say that that really detracts from the purchase when the price is right.

Great movie, great story and even better actors. Tommy Lee Johns is always great! Josh Brolins' character is flawed but believable and great. Javier Bardem is fantastic, scary and ruthlessly driver; but also somewhat humorous. Great casting! Loved this movie! I recommend it!

This is an older movie that you have probably forgot you watched. It should however show us what money can do to people

I saw this movie when it first released on DVD and I must say that Javier Bardem played an excellent hitman. Another interesting point about the movie was that it has no soundtrack of any kind. There is also a fascinating philosophy of how Bardem's character interacts with other characters in the movie. If you don't like a lot violence I would not recommend watching this movie.

No Country is one of the best movies of the 2000's and one of the best by the Coen Bros. Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, Woody Harrelson, and Tommy Lee Jones give perfect performances. The movie is a great thriller with minimal dialogue and practically no music. It is a great adaptation of a classic novel written by Cormac McCarthy.

No Country for Old Men is truly a work of art. In my opinion this is the Cohen brothers magnum opus. This film hits the mark so high in every level. To the beautifully directed shots or the masterfully acted scenes from ththe incredible cast. Truly worth a watch and looks great on Blu-ray.

This is the Coen Bros at their best. It doesn't have the quirky humor many of their movies have because it would be distracting. Incredibly well acted, it follow Cormac McCarthy's book to the tee, using the bleak landscape to it's advantage. If you want happy or a nice tidy ending, it's not for you. Otherwise highly recommended.

This film is one of Javier Bardem's best performances. The simple aesthetic of using western story telling is absolutely remarkable. There was no soundtrack used in the film which in my opinion is a difficult thing to do for a filmmaker and gets my highest praised to the talented Coen Brother for directing this brilliant film.

The ultimate chase movie – a good guy, a bad guy and the guy-in-between. Lots of blood and violence done in a graphical way. This film has a very simple plot that is significantly uplifted by its actors. At the same time, it is a quiet movie with a big story in keeping with its’ West Texas setting.

Definitely a drama...and bloody...you'll watch it a second time to get the storyline down...bonus extras worth a watch actually before watching the movie...bad guy is actually a Spanish actor...the wife...definitely Scottish...she nailed it with the southern accent...all I can say...why'd you go back...

Typical quirky Cohen brothers (directors) film, a definite conversation piece. Great drama, suspense and twists and turns. Kinda bloody/violent. Great setup and a thought provoker ... what if I found that suitcase??? Watch it and you'll grimace at the madness of the lead character, Javier. Also Josh Brolin and Tommy Lee .. great acting.

An old one but a modern classic. Words cannot truly describe it. From frame 1 to rolling of the credits, I did not blink. Everything is brilliantly done. Definitely for Adult viewing! Just watch it, or if you have watch it again and look at the backgrounds, the cinematography, music.

Javier Bardem at his best, Josh Brolin does wonderful and one of Tommy Lee Jones top movies. Josh Brolin plays Llewellyn who finds money in the Rio Grand. The true owner of the money sets out to track down Llewellyn and get his money back. So the pursuit begins. The movie never fails to keep you in suspense until the end.

A lot of fun, although the ending is artsy fartsy. I can appreciate the ending but I would understand if it wasn't satisfying for some. I wish it had a more shoot em up kinda ending, but it's still a heckuva lotta fun for a couple hours. Academy award type movie that's actually really entertaining. Yeah, I recommend.

One of the better suspense/thriller movies I've seen in quite some time. This movies will leave you totally clueless as to how it will end, and I sat on the edge of my seat from the beginning til the very end. Loved it!

Javier Bardem is truly terrifying as an insane, cold-blooded hit man. Josh Brolin is excellent in everything I have ever seen him in. This crime tale full of twists and turns. A great cast including Woody Harrelson. Not for the faint of heart!

I bought this movie after hearing my boyfriend talk about how good it was. It was on sale at Best Buy so I decided to give it a whirl. I was pleasantly surprised. This movie has very complex actors and a twisting plot line that will continuously intrigue you until the film's end!

I bought a blue ray player ten months ago but have not used it much as I have been traveling a lot. This movie played very well on my Sony blue ray and the sound was awesome! The characters in the movie played there parts very well and the plot held your interest until the end! I recommend this movie.

This movie is truly in a class by itself - I have never seen another movie like it. The script, direction, camera work, acting - all worked together beautifully to provide for a stellar movie-watching experience. I've seen it three times, own a copy, and plan to watch it again soon.

Excellent movie about a man who finds mob money and is hunted by a spooky Psychopathic Hit-man whom kills everyone by flipping a coin and asking them to pick heads or tails. He also kills a few other people along the way, for free!
