I love the artwork from this series and the box set is great looking. If you can find it for less than retail its totally worth it. It looks great next to my set of the anime series.

In many ways, the main characters in this movie mirror the main characters in No Game, No Life. Different story of course, but it brought in some of the same elements that I love in the anime series. While it has more of a somber tone, it is still a fun watch. As a prequel to the anime series, this movie delivered a satisfying backstory. It gave No Game, No Life the great framework that it deserved. For No Game, No Life newbies--if you like watching clever characters doing brilliant things, then check this series (and movie) out. It won't disappoint.

If you loved the series then this is a no brainer. Its a very visually stunning anime film. I wouldn't watch this unless you have already seen the anime. It's not linked too much but why would you watch the movie before the series?

A must own for any fan of anime. a great one that looks great on blu ray! If you can get it on sale if not it is worth the price either way!

A gorgeous movie that's a fantastic follow up to season 1 of the anime. Fans of the series with definitely enjoy this.

I watched this at the theaters not expecting much, but it gives a great backstory to the whole premise of the anime series. Definitely recommend!
