Good fictional movie....not biblically accurate at but good as long as you take it as fiction. The plot worked well, the movie moved along well and didn't feel almost 3 hours long, and is a definite keeper. I'd recommend it as long as your open to a fictional interpretation of the biblical Noah and the story of the biblical flood.

This movie is losely based on the bibles Noah, with a twist on where Noah desended from and the conflict between the families. When angles tried to help with the conflict they were condemned to earth as rock poeple to aid in settling the conflict. Overall it was a good movie with the stereo typical fight between right & wrong.

Greet movie, had a lot of action. 2012, meets gladiator type feel. Cinematography was excellent. Blu-ray had nice colors, with excellent use of the surround sound. Comeback movie for Russell Crowe. Don't listen to reviews about how it does not follow the bible. It's. Hollywood action movie, not intended for studies or school use.

Watch this movie. Bur do not think of as a biblical truth. Some of is very good. The Arc was well made. The Arc was also true to size and shape. The movie did show the evil of men (why the flood.). But also Noah's interpretation of what GOD wanted was put to test. Very entertaining. Well done. I will watch this movie many times.

I originally saw Noah in theaters. I thought it was a decent film with some interesting ideas, but I had no plans to rewatch it in the future. The only reason I picked it up on Blu-ray is for the awesome steelbook packaging. The release looks great and I recommend picking up this limited edition packaging while you still can.

I bought this movie along with Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings. I enjoyed this movie better than the other one. I thought Russell Crowe did a good job, as did as Emma Watson. Not sure how accurate the story is but I thought it was exciting enough to keep my interest all the way through.

Best Buy has been getting some great exclusives lately and this one does not disappoint. The design is unique and it also includes inside artwork. This can be difficult to find though as my local store sold out before 3 on release day. Hopefully if these keep selling well Best Buy will continue to get more.

This is not your typical bible story, creators were surly thinking outside the normal and added a slice of fantasy rather than supernatural. The ark was actually built for its purpose and the way animals came aboard made perfect sense. It was a refresing look at an already told tale. We'll worth watching.

The dts mastered hd on the bluray was awesome. It sounded great on my 7.2 surround sound system. Most movies are just 5.1 but this was actually released with 7.1 and it sounded great. I wasn't real impressed with the movie itself but if you wanta put ur surround sound to the test this is the movie for u.

First of I want to say that if I did not know the true story from the bible I would have enjoyed this movie more and would have given it 5 stars . Great action , and good cast . I encourage everyone who sees it to read the real story from the bible ! Hope one of this days for Hollywood to get it right .

This has a lot more action than those earlier versions of the same story base. I think more family members can relate to this one, a bit more (down-to-earth). Is it more or less accurate than the "Actual" events; well, there is only "one" who knows the answer to that... A good movie, i think.

Anything with that guy from a beautiful mind is usually amazing ,amazing, and amazing. Oh yeah my wife just straightened me out ... his name is Russel Crowe. My personal favorite from him is Master and Commander. Okay, buy it, read between the lines, and Fear & Love God you will not regret it.

I had read reviews that said this movie was violent and dark and they are true. However, it seemed necessary and very well done. I found the movie entertaining and even though the outcome is well known, they still kept you guessing exactly how it would end. Good movie, will watch again.

for those of you looking for a literal translation of the bible, this movie is not for you. However, if you are just looking for an entertaining twist on the days and life of Noah, then you will be pleased. This has lots of good action scenes as well as cinematography and acting.

Noah is an excellent movie despite the protestations of both the religious right and the anti-religious crowd. The very fact that it angers both groups should be enough to make others understand that this isn't a religious movie, although the 'Creator' is central. It's fun.

This movie was far more entertaining than I expected. Accurate to the story, of course not, but I almost felt like I was watching Mad Max or Beyond Thunderdome at times. Yeah, the bad guys are that ridiculously violent and campy. The story was interesting enough without it.

Noah is a more gritty, violent & IMO more realistic spin on the Biblical story. Crowe was absolutely amazing in it & the visuals are stunning. If you're expecting a religious film than I suggest staying away from this one. But if you could care less then you must see this!

With all the controversy & 1 star reviews on this film, I went in not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised with the movie. If you watch it as any other Hollywood movie, and leave out all the religious disagreements etc., its a very well acted, entertaining film.

I feel the action with in this movie was well done. Kept me interested throughout even if this wasn't exactly like in book. I feel the acting was good also, even though some could have been a lot better. I enjoyed this non the less and will recommend it to everyone.

it was great movie and easy to purchase. was looking for good price and I think best buy made it is to find what I am looking for and friendly staff to help me. I will tell other that best buy is a great place to buy what your looking for with helpful employees.
