Even though its a well known story, I wasn't sure what to expect from this movie. After watching it, I was very impressed. Very good acting and the CGI was also very well done. Russel Crowe does not disappoint in this film. Great movie to add to the collection.

I was really looking forward for this movie for a long while. Would of like the watchers to be more angel or demon like. They instead looked like ents from lord of the rings, come on. Other than that, the movie was good. Original score could have been better.

Chances are you've heard the story of Noah. This film takes many liberties, but still has some good things. The steelbook case is cool, especially for collectors, but the inner art is lame. The movie is kinda boring at times, but is worth renting I suppose.

This is not your classic Noah story. It follows the original in many regards, but there are some "artistic liberties" that may irritate those looking for the classic story brought to life. It's definitely worth watching, but go into it with an open mind.

Movie was a little hard to follow in the first 30 to 40 min. Jumped to and from to many points in the beginning. Evened out later in the movie. Was a very different take on the biblical version. Liked the movie and will probably watch again.

The movie was worth buying, was close to being accurate as far as the story told in the Bible. The action parts were very good, could have used a little more. The actors for the most part do a good believable acting job. Glad I bought the movie.

This movie does not stick to the Bible,but i still think it was very well done, with a great adaptation,& spectacular acting by Russel Crowe! some great C.G.I. Work,& great message, A great way to get younger viewers some knowledge of the Bible!

Great movie based on Biblical story...don't try to make it a "bible" story, because it is only based on the bible. Put together great with its own twists to it. My whole family watched it and enoyed it. Generated great family discussions.

Nice Biblical epic that works as for people who are not religious and isn't offensive for people who are. The acting is good and they treat the religious aspects with respect, if somewhat different than other mainstream religious films.

Noah is an extremely dramatic retelling of the violent events of a worldwide flood in ancient times. Many cultures have a story similar to the Biblical Old Testament account. This movie incorporates some aspects of other culture's tales in its telling. This does not hurt the basic premise of the evils of mankind. But there is a definite juxtaposition of views on whether man is to "subdue" nature or "protect" it. I am disturbed by Noah's conclusion that this event means all humans must die out and that is part of his mission from God. But it is also logical that we humans can be wrong and can learn that justice is also tempered with mercy.

I really liked director Darren Aronofsky's mythological extension of this Biblical tale. Great performances by Russell Crowe, Ray Winstone and Jennifer Connelly, who becomes more lovely in her ongoing career. Beautiful cinematography.

The movie by itself was pretty darn good, but if you are looking for biblical accuracy, forget it. This movie even had transforming rock angels. They looked like Transformers. I didn't know there were Transformers in the bible.. LOL

Russell Crowe is always outstanding. This movie is worth buying to watch often. An outstanding work on the flood. My Bible Study discussed the film's merits in bringing attention to the fact that God was then and is now in control.

I really enjoyed this movie. It wasn't what I was expecting for the most part because I know the Bible story. There were pieces of it in the movie, but that was it. Most of it was original so that you don't know what to expect next.

Great movie. As always great acting by Russel Crowe. Story off a little bit from the Bible. From rock creatures helping Noah, to a daughter in-law getting pregnant and having the babies in 40 days. Otherwise a great family movie.

This proved to be a great drama, aside from the parts of the story that were obviously added for "entertainment purposes." Certain liberties are taken within the Biblical story of Noah and the flood. Great drama non the less.

I thought this was a good twist on a story we should all know about. I'm a big fan of Russel Crowe and enjoyed this movie. I liked the action and graphics contained in this movie. It was enjoyable and would recommend to others

Solid movie worth owning. There are enough factual references that keep the movie interesting and the cinematography is good. Don't expect to movie based completely on Biblical references, just sit back an enjoy it as a movie.

If you expect a movie that follows the Bible, this movie might not be for you. A lot of creative liberties were taken. There is a lot of action and the graphics are good.

I was excited to see this movie and it didn't disappoint. Russell Crow was amazing in the role of Noah. It's a movie that requires several viewings to see it all. Also, if you are of the Christian faith, it's a must see.
