Such a great movie with a great execution. I was afraid it would be done poorly. A family movie that you can enjoy with out worrying about content. I would recommend it to any one who asks about a new movie purchase.

I really enjoyed the movie. Just don't get wrapped up in the "does it follow the Book" and you will probably enjoy this too. There were surprises in the story line, the kept me wanting to see the rest of the movie.

What would happen if Noah met Gandalf? A whole lot of special fx! Only loosely based on some characters in Genesis, the whole story takes on a Peter Jackson atmosphere with fallen angels that become rock monsters out of Galaxy Quest, an anti abortion subtext, animals that never made it onto the ark, a dangerous and treacherous stowaway, and an angry mob dispatched like a battle scene from the Two Towers. They have taken a page from the bible and folded it into an origami video, fun to look at, but with only some of the original words visible. Recommended as an interesting comparison to the original.

Some unexpected aspects of the story of the great flood. A very different telling but in some ways became more of a science fiction movie than a biblical telling of Noah. It is worth watching and owning, imho.

Very nice looking Steelbook. Only thing that could be better would be a different packaging for shipping products. The cardboard mailers do not offer adequate protection for shipping this type of product.

The movie overall was really good. I enjoyed watching this movie. The acting was alright there were some times I thought to myself, really?? Besides that by being another biblical movie it was not to bad.

This is a very good movie. It provides a different perspective/interpretation to "The Flood" that was experiences thousands of years ago. This story touches upon the angels, animals and creatures of the Earth as well as human beings. The concept of the perspective is superb and the acting is great. In short, this is a very good interpretation of a story that has shaped and influenced cultures and religions for decades. One day, those evasive questions will finally be answered because there are many. This director just provided another perspective.

Over all it was an updated version of the story of Noah with the addition of an unexpected character remaining alive after the flood. wish it was produced in 3D version to add more life to the movie.

I like this movie a lot. Honestly religious people are too sensitive when it comes to this movie. They didn't call God "the Creator" so as not to offend people. It's because at that point in time people wouldn't have referred to him as God. And the part at the end where Noah gets drunk offended church going people. But, guess what? That was in the bible. And Noah wasn't a nice old man with a white beard and a picturesque ark. It was all gritty. My favorite actor in the movie was Logan Lerman. Trust me he's going to be famous in successful for a long time.

not exactly as the bible says and the pope didnt like it...i thought it was a good movie as old testament is very dark times and this gets dark and a little wild but i enjoyed it as did my gf

Hollywood's take on a traditional story known to those who have read the Bible. It's a good story on it's own but the Hollywood editions are for entertainment purposes only. Good time killer.

I enjoyed this movie. There are a lot of reviews that criticize this film in that it was not the true story as told in the Bible. Put all that aside and enjoy it for what it is. You decide.

I was surprised about the watchers. It took some time to feel they were needed in the story until the very end. I was very curious to see how this story would be told and just had to see it.

I loved the acting and the way the scenes were staged. The accuracy of the 'Story', as I learned it and read it from the Bible seems more of the Producer/director view, but is entertaining.

When I bought Noah, I was looking for the historical recreation as well as special effects to bring the storyline to current times. The movie did it all. I would recommend it to everyone.

I collect steelbooks and I was surprise that this one sold out in the stores as fast as it did. This finish is pretty cool and the detail in nice. Definitely glad I picked this one up.

For the most part this movie was very good. If you are looking for a entertaining movie and not a direct representation of the Bible version of Noah, then you wont be disappointed.

Great movie, Russell Crowe did a great job. Loved the scene where the flood starts. Only downfall is that you can tell it's green screen at times but definitely enjoyed this movie.

The Blu-Ray of Noah looks great. This is an interesting, original take on the Noah story. Very entertaining and some great performances. Need to go into the film with an open mind.

If you've read the Bible story of Noah, you are already pretty familiar with the premise of the story. The writers filled in a lot of details, sometimes in imaginative ways. Except for Emma Watson, the acting seemed a bit flat and uninspired and had me sometimes rooting for the flood. Obligatory good vs. evil subplot inserted. Special effects were good - those folks can just work miracles with CGI, can't they? Overall, not a bad movie. Just glad I didn't pay to sit through it in a theater and my copy is likely ebay bound.
