Setting aside any controversies, this is strictlya review based on the film as a motion picture. The plot itself is rather thin yet simple and handled well enough to want to find out what happens. However, by the end of the film you'll most likely end up saying "That's it?" It's artsy, beautiful and haunting to look at, but feels like a rather removed experience. Good special effects, but many unanswered loose ends.

This was a successful movie as far as I'm concerned. I was entertained the entire time. Another great biblical action packed blockbuster.

Russell Crowe delivers in this biblical tale of Noah the Blu-ray version is outstanding! The vivid color and imagination is a must see!

It is a good interpreter of the flood and the Characters that creates the setting, drama, and historical information from the Bible.

Even if you don't know the bible story of Noah very well this is an interesting take on the classic story. The special effects abound throughout this movie are impressive and the cast for the most part is up to the task. However at points the flow of the movie stalls, which makes it much longer than it needs to be. Overall I'm glad I watched it and I will surely watch it again...not rushing to do so however.

movies like this are always touchy for some people but if you get past that and take it for what it is the movie is very entertaining

This film could have been better but I felt that they could have expanded on some of the plot-lines they added to the story of Noah.

Although it appeared to be a different spin than the biblical version, the special effects were great and Russell Crowe was good.

I enjoyed the movie. It took the story in a surprising direction, but I prefer the Bible version. Still it was a great adventure.

Purchased Noah two disc Blu-ray version using my Best Buy points and enjoyed the dvd very much with great special effects.

The movie was better than expected. I liked the fact that the main character was portrayed like a regular person with flaws.

Good portrayal of the story of Noah. I would advise to read Noah in the bible and make a spiritual evaluation for yourself.

Interesting movie. Even with the deviations from the blblical account, the movie raises interesting theological points, including Noah's sinfulness, and a novel interpretation of why Ham disrespected his father. The sci-fi elements will be annoying to some, and fun to others. Overall, I enjoyed this movie a lot. I'd recommend reading the biblical account first, if you haven't already.

The movie brings the story to life and explores the emotional upheaval that must have went along with being the chosen few.

Good story line & very cool effects. You don't have to know the whole bible story to know what's going on in this movie.

This is an updated version of a story in the Bible. It is the basic story with Hollywood twists added. Good entertainment.

Movie was very well done. There are those who may not enjoy this one. For those I say watch it as a SyFy movie and enjoy.

Enjoyed the movie overall: graphics, characters and much of the story line. It just wasn't true to the biblical version.
