My mom needed a simple phone for long-distance calls after her 3G one was obsolete. After a frustrating search, we found this Nokia. It's wonderful! Easy to set up, incredibly easy for her to contact the frequently called numbers. It is easy to read, and feels sturdy.

The Nokia 2720 Flip Phone, though a basic phone in the era of smartphones, brings back the simplicity and nostalgia of flip phones with a modern twist. Unlocked for versatility, it allows users to choose their preferred carrier.
The phone's compact design makes it pocket-friendly, and the flip mechanism adds a touch of classic style. The physical keypad offers tactile feedback for easy typing and dialing. The external display provides quick access to notifications and caller ID without opening the phone.
With essential features like a decent camera, 4G LTE connectivity, and a durable build, the Nokia 2720 is reliable for basic communication needs. The battery life is commendable, ensuring that users won't have to worry about frequent recharging.
Ideal for those who prefer simplicity or as a secondary device, the Nokia 2720 Flip Phone Unlocked is a reliable and stylish choice that harks back to the era when phones were primarily for calls and texts.

This Nokia 2780 is just right for me. Its a basic phone, but stronger, heavier & thicker than the Nokia 2720. Works well for peace of mind when driving. I just wanted something for talk & text. The rep at the Best Buy in Fredericksburg (Jon) was very helpful, kind and professional. He understood exactly what I wanted as a young senior just a bit over 65. He was not pushy or looking down on me for not wanting a smart phone when I have computers at home for all that. Very pleased with the phone so far and the great service I received. I'll be back. Thank you so much.

Don't mess up a flip phone with KaiOS. If I want a smartphone, I'll buy a smartphone. If I want a flip phone, I don't want "smart-ish" features like access to the internet. Especially on a tiny low-res screen with a low-res camera. Pick a frickin' lane. I wanted a simple flip phone as a first phone for a child. I may have to return this.

Phone does what I was hoping it would do! It gets 3 stars because pretty frequently the screen will look like an old fuzzy tv screen where I can't do anything. I press a bunch of buttons until it finally goes back to normal. Also I still haven't figured out how to get my email set up. I think this is a google issue, but it still is very difficult and you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it which I havent been able to figure out. Overall though it clears up my head space because it's not a smart phone and I probably would do it again.

It is a dumb phone. It takes pretty good pictures. Good battery life. I bought it for my 16yr old. We locked up his smart phone.

Bought for 87 year old. She is figuring it out. It is different from her old one, has more options for things, and good size text for reading. Pretty user friendly for someone who isn't tech savy.

AT&T ended 3G service and my dad needed a basic clam shell phone with 4G. The Nokia 2780 is what I and he was looking for. He doesn't need all the apps of typical smart phones because he only needs a cell phone to make basic phone calls.
Took the AT&T sim card, popped it into the Nokia, and it works perfect. Charging is by USB-C port like so many other phones are using these days. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 only because its plastic construction but better than other prepaid clam shell phones I've looked at. My dad loves it because it's so basic and easy for him to use.

My special needs brother loves his flip phone. He prefers a flip phone over a smart phone.

I really love the phone. I wanted a flip phone to be more detached from the internet, but I still needed hotspot capabilities for when I’m working on the road. This phone gives me both of those requirements.
Camera is what you’d expect out of a flip phone - don’t expect canon quality ha
