I had to buy a phone in a hurry because mine went in the pool. This one was available for same day puck up.
It's a pretty decent phone. I haven't had any issues with it so far. The one thing you should consider though is it's a VO LTE and Verizon had a really hard time getting service to it. They finally did. Even though it says Verizon. It was not listed on the engineer site that Verizon uses to activate so it was hours of trying to get service to it. Idk what the difference in 4g, VO LTE is. But apparently it's not one you can just stick your sim card in and go.

Nice and beautiful. Right size and easy to manage. The internal memory of 128GB it's what make me decide to buy it. It was the right price for this kind of phone.

Pros:
-The look, feel, and build of the phone is by far the biggest plus. Feels great. Classic look. Green color is eye catching.
-Solid camera. Portrait mode is great. There are better cameras but for $250 unlocked (on sale), you won't be able to get a better camera.
-Stock Android.
Cons:
-Sluggish android performance. Should be better. Updates have made it tolerable and improved performance, but it still needs to be faster overall for the specs provided. Phone sometimes struggles multitasking.
Overall:
Very solid phone. Again, I bought this primarily for the build quality and camera. It definitely looks more expensive than it is. If I spent $350, I wouldn't be thrilled with the value because of the sluggish performance, but for $300 and especially $250, I'm very satisfied.

Value for Money Midranger

Value for money midranger that should be enough for an average moderate user. The build quality is what you would expect from a Nokia/HMD Global device. Feels solid in hand. Best part of the device, I would say the PureDisplay technology, the HDR content displayed looks good in most conditions. the difference is much noticeable when watching videos. Only an LCD screen, but quality of the display is very good, with proper deep blacks and good viewing angles. Cameras are average, nothing extra ordinary but value for the price. Pro mode has many features to play with, like a maximum 20 sec shutter speed. Portrait mode is satisfactory, wide angle and night mode are added benefits. Though an old chipset, gets the job done in most cases, thanks to the bloatware free Android One. Has some rough edges though in the software department. Random freezes or no response for a few seconds. Battery back up is just above average and can get you through a day on a single charge with moderate use.
Upgraded to this as I wanted a stopgap phone ASAP, as my Nokia 7 plus became unusable because of its famed charging port issue. Same chipset and RAM, would say is a good successor to the 7 plus. Went for the 'open box excellent' option. So was a great bargain for me.

Ok so I'm a Tech enthusiast who likes to experience different platforms ie Apple iOS.. Samsung Android One UI.. etc. With that said here's how this phone stacks up at the end of 2019.
Build Quality 9/10
Nokia stands out at the $350 price mark. This phone feels and looks premium!
Hardware 7/10 (Camera 8/10)
A somewhat outdated Qualcomm 660 with 4GB of ram. Camera is a competent performer that will capture the very best of life around you.
Software 8/10
A Pure Android experience for sure. Nothing complicated , nothing fancy. This was my appeal to this phone and I don't regret it. You get what you need layed out simply. Nothing more. With Android One guaranteeing you 2 years of updates as well as 3 years of Security fixes Value is in hand.
Performance 7/10
I might not be the target audience for this phone as I tend to lean towards the flagship brands and models, however I appreciate the whole package. Yes it can hang up slightly launching the camera app or heavy multitasking but nothing you don't quickly get over.
Overall 8/10

Bought this phone to see if Nokia phones are what they used to be in the past. They are and then some. I really like this phone. I have been buying the middle of the road sony phones. Not any more. I will buy nokia. There are some draw backs but they can be shut off. like the google assist button on the left side of the phone is in the wrong place and you hit it everytime you hit the power button on the right side. They camera is really great for the price of this phone. I find new things every day that I like about this phone. I wish they would put the same camera on the pureview 9 if they would I would buy the 9 to get the faster cpu. The 660 is plenty fast but the 845 would be better of course. The 4 gigs of ram work well and what can you say. 128 gigs of space. all the above for only 315 with tax. Go nokia

For the money there's not much to complain about great performance plenty of storage battery last all day. The display is great i think the thing that shines is the camera on this phone. You can get those 1000$ pictures with this phone without emptying your wallet.
Do make sure to get a case this phone is very thin and is slippery with one hand use. Would recommend to anyone.

Best Nokia in years!!

Wow! I am very happy with the job Nokia/HMD has done here. I used just about every Nokia symbian phone over the years. Then I switched to Windows phone until Microsoft and Steven Elop ruined what was left of the best mobile phone maker ever until that point. Ever since Nokia was resurrected by HMD Global I have been buying almost every mid ranger. I even had the Nokia 8 (sort of flagship device) and I just passed down the beautiful but sometimes laggy Nokia 4.2 to my mother. For her it is a competent and easy to use first smartphone.
Last week after selling my Nokia 6.1 I decided to give the 7.2 a shot and boy am I happy! Sleek feel, the green color looks flashy in sunlight. The snapdragon 660 is smooth especially with the awesome stock Android experience and thankfully the lack of any bloatware! The triple camera setup takes very good shots and the night sight feature is just as good as the one on my wife's Pixel 3! The screen is absolutely stunning by the way!
This phone may be a mid ranger but with the bang for your buck and the nice feel and craftsmanship this feels so premium to me. Highly recommended!

I'm user of cheap, and they do the job, everything, or not so of one really is on photos etc where Nokia comes in. I like it, not full 5 stars as I wanted international (dual SIM) model but somehow LTE didn't work, didn't charge with whichever chargers ~issues. This model does everything nice and smooth. Didn't study bands etc, things need to just work on urban metropol areas. Details one tunes up as needed. So one star missing from this one is for missing SIM slot !

I am very happy with this phone. It is a nice size and the camera is great. You can't beat the price. The only really annoying feature to me is the Google Assistant button, which I inadvertently hit often and which seemingly can't be disabled.
Best Buy got the phone to me quickly, which I really appreciated.

This will be a simple review of this device with as little techy talk as possible. All tech talk will be explained for those who want it.
Pros:
This is a well built upper mid-range device with great build quality and good specs. It comes unlocked for use on any GSM carrier in the USA and is pre loaded with a Vanilla Android OS that has absolutely no bloatware. If you don't know what either of those things are I will expand on that a little below. The screen response is good enough for the average used and battery life will need you a normal days worth of use. The camera takes above average photos and you can install the camera app from the new Pixel so it's even better with that (Most camera trickery on a mobile device is done in software and not at the lens level). The speaker is loud enough to hear video or music playback in a crowd, but the ear piece doesn't appear to be an amplified speaker so don't expect stereo playback. Headphones are the way to go for watching content on the go. The back of the phone is a glass panel. My last phone was glass on both sides and the back panel was a massive fingerprint magnet. This one is frosted and looks amazing on the green version. It also doesn't leave fingerprint marks that easy. The last pro is definitely the price. There are many devices in this price range that will do the job. But I don't feel like any of them have the same feel of quality like this one does. This phone feels like a top tier flagship device in the hand.
Cons:
Like many phones on the market today the camera array is a rather large bump on the back of the phone. With the right case this can be almost all the way eliminated. But I would have rather had a thicker overall design with a larger battery inside. The pros of a larger battery far outweigh the cons of a thicker phone. Especially since I put a case on that made the phone as thick as the bump anyway with no gains to the battery. The phone looks beautiful so I would have just put a screen protector on and used it without a case.
Vanilla Android: The bare bones version of Android that Google develops as a base for other manufacturers to build on top of for their own devices. This is a highly optimized version that does what it advertises extremely well. Highly optimized means fast/smooth performance.
Bloatware: All the extra software that a manufacturer bakes into the operating system as system software that you can't delete and is most likely always running in the background. This software uses resources and by nature slows your device down. Most people don't even use the majority of this software so it is doing nothing more than unnecessarily chewing up resources in the background and making your phone feel slower over time. More so after you have installed all the apps that you use on a daily basis that are also running in the background.
Conclusion:
This is a beautiful device that feels really good in the hand. It is priced well and works great.

Very happy with this purchase. I can't believe I can still get a nice phone for this price. One of the things I was worried about prior
to getting this was the screen (since it's LCD), but it hasn't been an issue for me. Software is great since it's stock Android and it runs smoothly. Camera's nicer than I expected although it juts out the back which bothered me (I got a case to address this). Battery life is reasonable but charging is slower than I'm used to (coming from a Samsung Galaxy S9+ which has fast charging). I would definitely stick to Nokia if they keep producing phones like this!

Prior to purchasing this phone, I owned two different LG phones and I was just very disappointed with the battery life as well as the amount of storage that I was getting for the amount of money that I was spending on those phones. I had purchased both of those phones directly through MetroPCS. I went to Best Buy that day 2 purchase a Samsung phone, but I came across this Nokia phone and after looking at the specs I realized that this phone basically is just as good as the Samsung s9 I think at the time that was out and I'm spending far less money on this phone. this phone was even rated as one of the top phones in 2019 so really honestly the camera is absolutely awesome and Android 10 is now available for this phone. Really I'm silly I have no complaints at all. You really should check it out.

This was a huge upgrade from my previous phone. Not sure what is the problem but commercials on YouTube freeze. I like the bedtime feature. Camera is cool. I haven't done a lot of features, but I may someday. Still adapting to new phone. For 250 I'd say it's good.

The Nokia 7.2 has proven very good overall. Being an Android One device, it was fantastic that it wasn't cluttered with preinstalled, useless, unwanted apps. No bloatware, just stock Android.
It was was faster and more responsive than I anticipated. It does not feel like a mid range phone. Photos were great, apps loaded instantly. The old phone this replaced would take 6 seconds or longer to load an app.
Best of all it is easily customizable. The font size, background, brightness, all easy to change. You don't have to worry about squinting to read the screen, or having your eyes get tired.
The only downside, and why it didn't get a perfect score, was an issue with using the SD card as internal storage. Android One lets you mount the SD card as part of the internal storage. After the initial setup, the phone often said the SD card was not installed. I checked and it was properly secured and a reboot later would be detected again. An hour later the error would display again, and sometimes reboot on its own.
To fix the error I reset the phone, using the reset to factory option. When doing the setup again I mounted the SD card as EXTERNAL storage and the problem disappeared.
I put this up in case you try the SD card as internal storage and the phone is giving you problems. Setting it as external storage fixed the problems for me and hopefully for you too.
The phone has been functioning perfectly since then, no issues after that. It really is a great phone.

First of all my N7.2 beats my friend's iPhone 11 when it comes to features for the price. You'll need to turn the video and camera quality to the max in the options, and it does get 4k. I do a lot of backyard videos of my garden and the microphone picks up nature sounds that I hardly notice in real-time, my video of my garden easily sounds like a jungle on a nature show.
After about a week I noticed I will plug my charger up to it and it won't charge unless I barely move it to the right or restart my phone. I've never used my phone while on the charger or dropped it so I did not damage it in any way; it sits on a flat surface when charging. It seems like there's a connector prong that doesn't pick up when the charger is plugged in. A couple of times I woke up to a nearly dead phone because I wasn't aware it never started charging when I plugged it up. I read that Nokia will take care of the problem for free, I need to stop procrastinating and get it taken care of. Hopefully, they'll do everything by mail.
Sometimes Chrome browser would freeze and I'll have to press the home button to minimize and go back to the app so it continues where I left off.
Sometimes the camera won't focus on the item I'm trying to capture. I tried to record a red wasp eating a tadpole from my pond, the camera was so focused on getting high-quality footage of everything except the wasp even when I tapped the screen to focus on it. I had to pull the phone back move in slowly to refocus.

I was a little sad when my 6 year old decided to soak my 6.1, a phone I had for almost 2 years. I loved the phone, and couldn't find it for sale amidst the pandemic. So I decided to upgrade to the 7.2. It's a great phone for a regular phone user, few apps, messaging, video calling. It's fast, and sturdy, although I do highly recommend getting a case because the back is glass then aluminum. It's very fast, the camera is really awesome!
