I am a Nokia fan and owned the 810, the 925, the 1020 and now the 1520. I was afraid I would miss the quality of the camera from the 1020 because it is unmatched and the quality of the pictures are just out of this world so I was a little hesitant to go for the 1520 but I am glad I did. The 20mp camera is really good and only on a few occasions I noticed some differences (mostly low light pics). I still have the 1020 because I just love this phone and it is handy when I don't have a big pockets for the 1520. The size, what can I say..... it is BIG but it actually is really comfortable to handle, the quality of the screen is just amazing, it is very clear and very good outdoors (much better then my 1020 btw#. You also notice the difference in spec's between the two. Although WP8 does not require a lot of internal power the 2g ram and the faster processor really makes a difference that you notice mostly with the speed of the camera apps, the 1020 has some lag because it needs to process huge files but the 1520 #although the MP from this camera are less) does not have any problems handling these files. Its very smooth and I applaud Nokia and Microsoft for bringing devices like these to the market.
Can't wait for WP8.1 that will come out in a few weeks....
In a nutshell:
GREAT phone
Awesome camera
Easy to handle but you have to understand that it is HUGE
WP8 has many more features coming and the App store is expending very rapidly

Coming from a Lumina 520 this is amazing.
Originally I wasn't too fond of Windows Phone 8, it was good, but lacked flavor.
Attending TechEd they did a demo on the 8.1 platform update. It's incredibly nice compared to 8. It should be coming out around June is what I heard, and on this phone it's awesome!
The phone itself is nice and thin, and pretty light. The size, it seems too large at first, but really it becomes an incredible bonus. I go back to my work fruit phone and it pales in comparison.
This is also the first phone I've had where it's large enough to hold vertically and actually type without fat-fingering all the time because I will not type 1 fingered.
The sound is impressive, louder than a lot of tablets and laptops I've heard, definitely louder than any phone..
The only dislike is battery life......after you load the phone up and let EVERYTHING run in the background.. lol (remember that the back arrow is "exit" application/menu#
Once I turned off 'allow run in background' for the app, in Battery Saver, battery life when from 12-15 hours to a couple days with using Battery Saver at night. #it will lose about 2-3% battery per 8 hour sleep period with it on#
Overall it's great, it's a phone, yet large enough to ENJOY media/games on, not just suffice for the time being.

I love this phone. I have used just about every highend phone on the market for the last 4 years.and I have finally found a keeper.
For starters I have never been a big fan of Windows Phone. The UI is amazing, But the lack of Apps that I use everyday kind of bothered me. This being the first windows phone I have used since the 920 I must say a lot has changed for the better! I love how easy you can switch lens on the camera and how amazing the Nokia pro camera is!
The battery life of this phone is on a different level than any phone I have used. (Just switched from the Note 3) By the end of the day for the last few weeks I am sitting at around 45% where on the note i would be around 20 and the iPhone 5S I would have already charged one full time around noon :( The size of the battery and some of Nokia's smart software seem to make this battery run forever!
I could probably go on forever about things I love about this phone. If your on the fence about it or are a diehard Android fan (like me) Just give it a try You have 14 days to return it atleast if you don't like it, But honestly be hard not to fall in love after carrying it around for a week.
