It was very simple to install this advice on withings app- just few minutes. Easy to use and ACCURATE - it correspond to my I-phone step count.
In comparison to other similar products it looks classy. No single concern so far. I use it with a withings scale.

Software and firmware need work

It's a very nice watch, but there are some firmware improvements and app improvements needed. For example, heart rate is way off when you run and your hr increases. Sometimes it's 20 to 30 bps off. Also, the app doesn't take hr into consideration at all for its calorie calculation. There is a slider bar where you guess at the level of exertion you gave during exercise. Why measure hr if your not going to use it in you calculation?
Another point is that you cannot manually update your stride length for walking or running so the distance calculation can be wonky.
If Withings can fix these things, I think the watch will be a winner. The question is if and when will might happen. As it stands right now, this isn't so good for fitness, but it looks great and the notifications work well.

Horrible at step counting

I am very sad to have to write this review, because the look of this teacher is just beautiful. Unfortunately, it is not very good at taking steps. First, when you wake up in the morning if takes about 150 steps to "wake up“ the tracker before it starts recording. This was told to me directly from Withings customer support. Next, today alone I am showing 5750 steps on my fitbit blaze, and 4077 on the Withings steel hr. Yesterday was even worse. I have done several 100 and 200 step counts and the fitbit is within 1 or 2 steps, while the Withings varies wildly based on hands in my pocket, arms crossed, or arms swinging. The fitbit is within 1 or 2 steps in any hand situation. The Withings can be as much as 20% low. Sorry, but even with great looks of its worthless as a step counter.
