In the beginning, I was looking forward to getting this phone despite my 3rd party carrier using AT&T as it's backbone. I had the Nokia 7.1 phone and it was fantastic. It's size and operational stability, look, etc was excellent. Because of changes in the 3G to 4G transition by AT&T, I could not use the voice side of the 7.1 because 3G is the voice system. Back onto the XR20, got it because it's 5G, features are stated out in the open like Corning Gorilla Victus glass, and shock and water resistant features, and Zeiss camera lenses. I was happy to get it. But over time and with normal use, and an upgrade to Android 12 this phone began to develop a breakdown of functionality. EVEN THOUGH ALL SETTINGS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL APP WAS SET PROPERLY, things like notifications didn't work. Audible alerts don't work properly and even the screen orientation flippy feature don't work unless you turn the auto-rotate feature ON manually. I nearly came to the end of my rope over time with this phone, and had to do a factory reset. This meant re-install of all existing apps (hat-tip to Google for restoring them) and making sure the settings were proper. Well now I'm still getting loss of functions, this time it's my phone call drop-down. A smoke detector went off in error and got a call from my alarm company, I WAS FRUSTRATED BECAUSE THE DROP-DOWN TO ANSWER THE PHONE DIDN'T SHOW UP WHILE PHONE WAS RINGING, DROP DOWNS ARE SET TO SHOW ON TOP OF OTHER APPS IN USE. I had to call the alarm company up to cancel the dispatch. This is the straw that broke the camel's back which caused me to jump on the computer to do this review. I emphasize that all settings are set properly. Another thing, the text message arrival tone don't work, even though it's set to go on. HUM......mmmm. There's no discount and I thought this was well worth it, but I have second thoughts and considering replacing this phone with one with a more solid reputation of having better software/firmware. Please save the trouble and have an update sent out.

I've read good and bad reviews on this phone, however, I have found it to be excellent. Good screen, two speakers, and fast enough for my purposes. I think it's a good value and built to last.

Really good phone, I have 2 years with this phone and has a little scratches without any case.

I like the phone for the durability and the updates that come with it I have had the phone with no trouble playing games ,but I’m not much of a tech a tech savvy on the components of the phone but I like the way the phone feels in my hand so you can take this review for what it is

Works better than a samsung s22+!! Has a signal where the 22 doesn't

Everything that I was wanting. Upgraded from a Nokia 6.1 so I knew what I was getting with the vanilla Android. Decent specs and with 5G. Lives up to the Rugged part so far. I did buy it on sale. IDK if I'd pay the full MSRP for it unless the ruggedness was a must.

Maybe it's the new android but I hate this phone. It is worse than my Samsung S8 Active and simultaneously makes mistaken emergency calls all the time even when I cancel them I have a dog however and I've dropped this multiple times and the phone is great amazing responsive. Durability wise I definitely recommend the phone but software-wise I think that the phone is horrible The camera can be great it takes amazing shots then other times photos are really bad. Such as items being blurry. Which I suspect is part of how the camera works software-wise
