||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this case on my phone for about a month and the clear bumper around the edges turned yellow. It went from the nice frosted clear to a dingy yellow. I contacted Nomad and they sent me a replacement. The replacement case turned yellow after about a month as well. When I contacted Nomad again, they told me the TPE plastic that's used for the bumper will turn yellow when exposed to sunlight or air and since I already received a replacement, I wouldn't be able to get another one or return the yellow cases. She told me I could search for youtube videos on how to remove the yellow discoloration (TPE yellowing cannot be reversed by the way). So unless you don't plan on taking your phone out during the day or using it where there's air present, I wouldn't but this case.

TPE plastic has so many upsides as a material used for cases because of its strength and durability, but the big downside is definitely the way that it yellows with age. I'm sorry to hear that this happened with two of your Nomad cases.
