It looks like it could severely damage the charging port on my phone if there was not a surface immediately under the outlet to rest the phone on.

The compact size and design are ideal for anyone that has a smartphone, tablet, or other device that needs to be charged when you are away from home. The NomadKey ended up being my favorite new charger as it’s the perfect size to use when I am at work or even when I am at home using my laptop!

I returned it (Best Buy was helpful) and got another one. The new one works ok, but not as effectively as the last one. I'd recommend it but think you should keep the box and receipt handy too.
