The Nomad - NomadPlus Power Bank - Black is just ok

Just wanted to warn anyone thinking about purchasing this that is requires the smaller iPhone/ipad power plug

Our Charger does not fit this unit and not cost effective to buy another charger

I could not figure out how it works. it was plugged into the wall thinking the battery pack would charge if its not charging a phone but it didn't. it would charge a phone but i don't get why it would not charge without it. when i disconnected it and plugged my phone in it would not do anything. i returned it.

This is one of the best purchases I've made, period. Having a battery built-in to the wall charger I bring with me anyways is nothing short of FREAKING GENIUS! Starting with design, the black plastic casing is very lightweight, and also very strong thanks to the inner steel reinforcement. The Nomad branding is etched into the both sides with the same black color as the casing, which is great, because it doesn't stick out like a soar thumb. Also, the circular LED indicator on the front is very nice looking. Since this is an 1800mah battery, each third represents 600mah of juice. Speaking of the capacity, 1800mah's will give you one full charge on your iPhone 6 with it powered off while charging. Or if you're charging while using it, you'll get about 50-60%. This is great for when your phone dies when you don't have access to an outlet, and you brought your wall charger with you anyways. Moving on to integration, the way this works is the little white wall adapter that came with your phone slides into the corresponding slot on the back, and the prongs extend from the casing in order to plug into the wall. This is GENIUS, as the battery isn't much larger than the wall adapter by itself. Overall, this is a FANTASTIC buy. The seamless integration is innovative, and the 1800mah capacity is perfect for those unprecedented situations of battery death, haha. Now I know $40 bucks seems pretty steep for 1800mah, but you're not only getting a battery. You're getting a battery that you don't have to worry about remembering, since it's already on the wall adapter you'll bring with you anyways. It's not really a portable charger. The battery life isn't good and takes forever to charge your phone.

I never can forget this cargomg battery because it is always with me and my plug in charger. Brilliant idea Nomad. One hiccup, which is easily overcome when you realize, if you leave your charging cable plugged in (even if not plugged into a device) it drains the battery. So simply unplug the cord and you will be set. Get at least a full iPhone chaege out of it. Really like it. And since it is also the plug it is ALWAYS CHAEGED !
