I have had quite a few batteries/chargers in my day and this one is definitely the most beautiful battery I have ever owned. The American Walnut wood is amazing, durable, and elegant. It definitely looks good on any desk. The 12,000mAh battery is large enough to charge your iPhone 6 Plus 4 full times and usually a battery that large would be too big for transport, but the PowerPlant is just as big and a little wider than your iPhone 6 Plus. Perfect for that small compartment in your backpack. The only downside about this charger is the price but the craftsmanship, design, and durability of this charger makes the high price tag worth it.

I recently picked up a Nomad Powerplant because I am "off the grid" a lot of time, being rock climbing or traveling, and it's very important for my job that I stay connected 24/7. This thing packs a ton of power, I haven't recharged it in about a week and still has a ton of juice. Also fits perfectly in your pocket or back pack while you're charging your device. If you plan on going anywhere for over 24 hours and electricity will be a problem, pick this guy up!

Most 12,000mAh external batteries are made from cheap plastic materials and bulky. They get the job done but this does it with elegance! I think this make a beautiful piece just to leave out on my desk so I can quickly grab it on my way out.

Gorgeous American walnut wood casing results in each one being unique to you. Offering two USB ports to charge two devices, and an included micro USB cord for charging the battery- it's a simple, effective and worthy battery for on the go use. For LED lights identify the battery's current life and a power button let's you power down when not in use. I haven't noticed it getting warm at all during charge (took around four hours to fully charge). Nor did it get warm during its discharge into two devices. Let's be real though, I bought this for Pokemon GO.

I've been using it for a while and didn't have any problems with it. The best thing is when I get to show it off to my friends! 2 USB ports, 12,000 mAh, real American Walnut wood, slim, stylish, and light. The package it came in was really nice too. It's a life saver while looking good at it.

I was so excited for this battery. It looks the part and is super classy but it lasted about 25 minutes. It took about 8 hours to charge back up. While charging it got super hot and the glue that holds the faceplate on overheats and expanded. Needless to say the front bubbled out and I returned it for a different battery. It really sucks because I have been wanting this since it was release and Nomad makes some other great products.

I got this Nomad power plant while it was on discount and it works as advertised. Only problem is the trim piece by the USB ports is popping out, not enough adhesive was applied during assembly seems like. Its capacity is as disclosed.

Keeps a charge and works nicely. Stylish wooden casing. Hard working for phones or tablets. Has two ports in.

This works really well and I love the design. It charges my phone quick and lasts awhile

Great Battery pack to have on the go I just recently went deep sea fishing aND by the time we shipped off I was at 50%...got 5 good pics then phone died got excited when I saw this and I will be ready for whatever without worrying about phone dying again

This charger has been phenomenal! The only reason I took one star away is because we left it in the car on a fairly hot, but not scorching day, and the glue that holds on the metallic face plate melted. I reapplied it and it still works just as well. But the glue on the faceplate could have been a higher quality.

Awesome capacity. Can charge my phone three times. Only reason it gets three stars is because the plastic around the charge ports was not cut correctly and poorly attached. Got mine on clearance for 25 buck though.

I have not had as far as I can tell, any degradation of battery life and it looks classy enough to keep on the table during meetings.

The Nomad Powerplant is one of the best Battery Backups i have ever purchased.

At sea, or at the mountain where view is excellent and you have to have the phone camera ready, have peace of mind you have a back up battery just in case.
