Nomatic is expensive in general but it's WORTH it! Nomatic is a phenomenal brand and makes traveling so simple! Each of their products fits with all their other products which makes everything that much more convenient. Everything is so organized that even if your suitcase is flagged at the airport there's it's an opened and closed case ;)

For years I have been avoiding hard material suitcases because of 2 reasons, first the weight, they were always around 16 to 18 pounds and that will cut a lot of the 50 pounds that are allowed without paying extra for the weight, and second, all of the hard suitcases came with its own lock, that TSA breaks every time they think they have to open and check the content, and worst, leave the suitcase unlocked for the whole trip. Well, these two inconveniences literally disappeared with the Nomatic suitcase. It barely reach the 12 pounds of weight, but on top of that its magnetic compression straps and a folding compression panels helps to compress the clothes as well as helps you to pack quickly. The second reason is, that the lock is TSA approved, so they don’t need to break the lock and damage my suitcase anymore! TSA has the key to open and close. The suitcase also has four wheels at the bottom which allows you to swiftly move it anywhere. This suitcase is amazing! This is the first time I dare to try a Hard Suitcase and honesty it looks great! The first thing that pops into your head when analyzing the outside of the Nomatic roller luggage is the durability. The handle is aluminum and the material is polycarbonate, very impressive and quality material. The exterior is hard and long lasting against scratches or those tough throws out luggage usually experiences at the airport. The first thing I did was to set the combination. It is very simple and took less than 5 minutes. You have to set it to 0 press the small combination button next to it. While pressing the button, you must choose a new combination and unlock it. As I mention, the lock is also TSA approved. Very quick and simple! The inside of the suitcase is great too. It is divided into two sections so your belongings move a lot less and are more controlled during those long flights. The section on the left has magnetic belts that keep everything in place and also a moveable net. The section on the right has an implemented net sewn into the suitcase with three different zippers. Both bets are see-through. There is a also a barcode on the inside that directs you straight to their website where you can find more information on the product. Overall, this is suitcase is very durable and has great material. It’s worth it!

    Best Suitcase I've Ever Used

They have thought of everything with this suitcase. There is nothing I could think of that could make this a better suitcase. From the great additions to the compartments and separators to the smooth rolling wheels. This is really a great piece of luggage that will be hard to match in quality and appearance. The one thing I like but seems like a waste is the TSA lock. The TSA will easily unlock with their key but they don't go out of their way to secure the lock again. A few features I really like: -Wheels are smooth rolling and durable -Handle extends easily and adjusts to a perfect height for most anyone. - TSA lock - Magnetic clasps for easy release and locking to hold contents in place - Two separate compartments separated by a zipping divider - A removable divider allows you to separate your items - Expands insanely wide for the return trip home with all the swag or souvenirs - Hard shell seems almost indestructible - Light weight build - Handles are very well located and make for a very even distribution of weight when lifting. It is worth the extra money to have a suitcase that will likely last a lifetime. The added options will only make this a even greater piece of luggage. Anytime you can make traveling easier it is worth the investment. If you are on the road a lot or make frequent airline trips, this is definitely a worthwhile investment. Highly recommended. I would recommend one thing, if you don't have a standard 3 digit code for the lock, reset to 000. I would set before and after the trip to a 3 digit you will remember. After the trip set to 000 again.

I really like the suitcase in that it offers a large(r) amount of storage as well as being lightweight. I took this on a trip to NYC a few weeks ago and it worked out great. I took the train so this wasn't subjected to the abuse of a American Airlines or Delta flight unfortunately. That said, it held up just fine on the train ride to/from NYC without issue. It even managed to hold up well being carted around NYC sidewalks. The wheels on this suitcase are nice in that they're pretty quiet as well as roll quite smoothly on any surface. It goes well from concrete to carpet to hardwood floor without any skipping or catching on anything. The biggest thing I liked about this suitcase was the compression pad. I'm a bit of a pack rat and I'm one of those people that will bring 5 sets of clothes for a 2 day trip....and wear the same thing everyday. With the compression pad/straps, I'm able to bring a lot more clothes but still have room for things like souvenirs or random odd things I buy while travelling. I was able to fit a good amount of clothing in my suitcase so I was quite pleased with that. The other big benefit I liked about the compression pad is that I hate unpacking my clothes whenever I hit the hotel. With the compression pad, as well as some packing cubes, I can live out of my suitcase easily and not have to unpack everything. Overall, great big suitcase that will work for those long trips. I'm hoping to get some overseas travel this year so I'll definitely be bringing this suitcase along for that. Now the real test is whether it'll hold up to air travel.

    A Game Changer in Travel!!

As an educator, who travels, I was elated to try this piece of luggage out. Firstly, I would love to comment on how nice the luggage was shipped as Nomatic did an outstanding job on packing with protection in order to assure the luggage would ship safely. Features-the outer layer of this luggage which is polycarbonate is seemingly durable and robust. I was worried about it scratching, however, there appears to not be any scratches. The main thing that impresses me the most is how lightweight the luggage is. I normally pack heavy when traveling; however, this luggage is a true game-changer in that it’s easy to maneuver and it rolls quite easily. Compartmentalization- this luggage truly has it all ‘figured’ out as there were plenty of spaces for everything I needed from clothing to accessories. I am a lover of shoes as I normally travel with several pairs; however, to my surprise there was enough room to accommodate them. The magnetic straps are great as they hold items in place securely. Suffice to say, the element of surprise was that I did not have to bring a piece of overhead luggage because of all the compartments that are within this luggage which equaled a true game-changer for me. If you are a frequent traveler who needs a good piece of luggage that is ‘all in one’ that can accommodate your every need from shirts down to basic accessories, I highly recommend Nomatic because of its durability, features and safety.

Durable, high quality and a worthwhile investment

Luggage tends to be underrated. It's something that most of us don't use often, so it's difficult investing a lot of money into it; we just don't use it enough. But as someone who travels more than the average joe (but by no means a power traveler) I can attest to the value of high quality, high functioning luggage. In other words, expensive, high quality luggage can be a tremendous investment. It will last a while and it will make traveling easier (to the extent luggage helps the process). A little bit about my experience with Nomatic, they started as a Kickstarter and make functional bags and luggage that have become more mainstream. I own two bags, a 2 day backpack and this spinner check in bag. I can say with utmost certainty that I love them both. They are designed in a smart way, with easy access to things you need. And it's more than just a "bag" with open space. There's compartments and straps that help you stay organized and pack just what you need, nothing more, depending on the length of your trip. Onto the spinner luggage. This is the check-in, which is exactly that, a bag you check in. It's intended for trips that last 5-10 days. I used it for my wife and I on a shorter trip so we only had to worry about one bag. I will say, if you use Nomatic's luggage cubes, you get even more organization for those A types like myself. They're a worthwhile investment, but since they don't come with the luggage, I'll leave them aside. One of the big problems with a large suitcase with no straps, etc., is that your items are just loose and susceptible to being tossed around in the bag. This is a bigger problem for those who live out of their suitcase when they travel. You'll often be digging through your bag to find what you need, but if everything was organized and secured before you left, then everything will be where it's supposed to be. The check-in suitcase has three magnetic straps on the right side that allows you to secure what's in there. For example, for guys you can roll up your boxers or tshirts and shorts, put them under the compartments and you simply pull the strap to tighten. This securely hold everything in that area which is nice in keeping things folded and organized. The left side is more of an open space (again, luggage cubes are highly recommend) which I use to store my toiletry kit, my shoes and when I'm travelling with my wife, her shoes. While it's an "open space" there is a zipper compartment that secures everything in that side, and that zipper door (I don't know what else to call it) has several zipper pockets that allows you to secure smaller items like ties, my chargers. Basically any small item that you would check that you don't loose in your bag. The suitcase comes with a built in TSA friendly lock, which is always appreciated. While I never had anything stolen from my bag at the airport or otherwise, I do like the peace of mind. This suitcase is surprisingly light for how durable it is. It actually doesn't feel that premium when it's empty, but I had no issues travelling with it. While I've only flown once with it, and taken on a several road trips, I have no complaints thus far re it's durability. It still looks new out of the box. The handle is smooth and sturdy. (note, if you have other Nomatic bags, like the 2 day backpack or messenger bag, they have a built in sleeve that allows you to slide your bag over the handle on your check-in). I found the bag easy to pull during my trip and through the airport (although I just rolled it to the check-in counter). At the end of the day, nice luggage is a worthwhile investment. Spending $600 on a rolling bag is steep, but you are getting a quality and functional piece of luggage that will last you forever. While I haven't been able to take it through its paces because of travel restrictions, I have been extremely pleased with it so far and don't have any reservations on how it will fare in the future. If you are in the market for luggage, I highly recommend this check-in (or even Nomatic's carry-on variant which is similar but in a smaller package).

First off, the hard shell outer layer is a must for traveling. Keep out the elements of the airport. The zipper locks add security against rough baggage handlers. The combination lock is easy to set up. One thing I absolutely love about the suitcase that my other luggage doesn't have is the compression system. I stuff my suitcase to the brim and wonder about zippers breaking because of it, but the compression system presses down clothes to make room for more clothes and allows for an easy closeup. Solves a lot of my problems when trying to travel with few bags, especially with family.

This suitcase is by far the best piece of luggage my family and i own. As a matter of fact, we are going to purchase a couple more, because it is not only big on the inside, but it's very durable and the wheels work great. I can't say enough good thing about this suitcase.

The best suitcase you'll ever own, but costly

This suitcase is amazing and is the best suitcase I have ever owned, but if you cannot afford it, there's no need to buy it. It's like buying an Apple product, where the specs on the inside are not worth the price you pay for them, but you're paying for the brand name and the clean interface. In this case, you're paying for the quality of the product. Let's start with the outside. The outside is really smooth that I didn't want to even have it checked in as I was afraid of it getting damaged/dinged. Like putting in your new car through baggage check in and you get it back and it has scratches on it. But unfortunately I had to, and naturally it does have some minor scratches after the fact. That's just the nature of airline agents throwing your luggage from one place to another. The wheels are super smooth. They're like thin roller-blading wheels and roll so smoothly and quietly. They go over bumps no problem, and the quality is just superb with the wheels. The handle is a bit shorter than expected, but a long one isn't necessary I guess. On the inside, there's a lot of customization that you can do to keep what you're packing organized. It's very spacious and is just great. No qualms whatsoever. Overall this is a great buy if you can afford it. I personally would pay $399 for it but I understand they may not be maximizing profit if that were the case.

Nomatic - 29" Expandable Spinning Suitcase is best looking suitcase. It made of durable, hard-sided, Makrolon polycarbonate case with full-perimeter expansion designed for 5-10 days of travel. It just over 12 pounds weight. It has lot of space inside and luggage compartment helps to ease packing with thoughtful design, namely compression, by optimizing space. Internal side pockets help to organize cords, accessories, and other pieces. We used this suitcase for 10 days Orlando trip and able to arranged all clothes. It was very easy to move around in the airport and wheels are really smooth. The built quality is really good for this suitcase. This suitcase has the added feature of TSA-friendly locks to help secure those high-quality YKK zippers. The straps inside the suitcase are sturdy. It comes with limited lifetime warranty. I was bit disappointed the look of this suitcase after the trip from Orlando. There were lot of scratches on the suitcase and dust is visible on the suitcase. It looks really different after one trip due to black color of the suite case. It is very expensive suitcase and expected to long last.

This suitcase is phenomenal. It fits perfectly in the bins above for travel. This thing is very sturdy. The wheels function better than most bags I have had. I am able to fit a lot of items in the suitcase without even having to check it in. I'm very happy with this suitcase. At this point, I have no cons about the suitcase at all. I'm very happy with it and will be buying another one.
