Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the sturdiness, quietness, and incline feature of the NordicTrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill. They appreciate how sturdy and durable it is, how quiet it operates, and how the incline feature allows for more challenging workouts. However, customers are negative about the screen size, startup time, and subscription requirement. They find the screen to be small compared to other brands, the startup process to be slow, and the requirement for an iFit subscription to access the full benefits of the treadmill to be inconvenient.

My review is that I thought that this had Bluetooth integration with the monitor in the monitor having access to Wi-Fi we could go to other sites using the monitor but it's only good for iFit only and that was not clarified unless I had to read 20 pages of fine print to find it. It feels like a commercial machine but for the price point there are other machines that have much bigger screens and their screen integration to phones and devices via Wi-Fi to navigate to other websites is available. I'm actually thinking about returning this machine for that purpose and buy a different brand who has these other capabilities and won't hide the fact that the monitor is iFit only

We are sorry for any confusion caused by the features and capabilities on this treadmill. We are currently in the process of beta testing the use of third-party apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime on the consoles of our machines. This update will be released to all units that qualify (this unit included) by the end of this year.

It is important to know that in order to use these features, a paid iFIT subscription is required. If you have further questions for us regarding your machine, you are welcome to contact us by visiting my.iFIT.com.

Treadmill works great but the 9” monitor is hard to read at times. The fonts are made for a 20 year old. I’m older and sometimes find it difficult to read. There’s no way to adjust fonts and you can’t upgrade the monitor. Norditrack treadmills cost too much just for a larger monitor so I paid $150 to mount a 45” tv in front of it. Also, I found it a little ridiculous you can’t use any provided apps such as Spotify, Prime, or Netflix without subscribing to iFIT which is over priced too. iFIT charges monthly recurring dues which are more than my gym membership.

I decided to purchase this treadmill after my 15 year old Nordictrack treadmill stopped powering on after some electrical issues in my house. After researching I went with this 1250 model while it was on sale. Overall, I think it's doing well so far and a step up from my older one. It's lighter than the older ones and the mechanism to lock it in the upright position is more secure. I chose the BB delivery but I had to find a way to get it into my basement on my own. My kids and I managed to safely get this down the stairs but it is heavy and we were not going to be able to carry it. I also managed to put this completely together by myself and it's pretty sturdy. Took about 3 hours and a lot of sweat. All the tools except the screwdriver were included. Functionally, yes the screen is small but not that big of a deal. I don't think it's worth it without the iFit membership, but if you purchase the family plan and have enough people in your family to join, the membership seems worthwhile compared to the cost of gym memberships. (Family membership allows you up to 5 individuals using their own emails but one payment. iFit breaks the cost down in a monthly amount but I had to pay all up front as the whole annual payment. I didn't see an option to pay it monthly.) It is smaller, lighter, but taller than my old model but is easier on my ankles when I run. I love that it has the incline and decline. My only quip with it is that it takes a while to start up when powered down from the switch. This is due to the technological aspect. I'm still trying to get accustomed to using this in the manual mode since there's so many bells and whistles with the screen. I think the more that I use it and over the course of time I will probably start to enjoy this a lot more. I'm hoping, even with the technological pieces, that this one lasts me another 15 years too. If not, I'm going back to a basic model with only buttons, no screens.

Excellent Treadmill – Worth Every Penny! The NordicTrack treadmill is a fantastic investment for home workouts! The build quality is solid, the cushioning is easy on the joints, and the incline/speed adjustments are smooth. The interactive iFit workouts make running more engaging, and the large touchscreen display is a great touch. It’s quiet, sturdy, and perfect for all fitness levels. Highly recommend for anyone serious about their fitness goals! The ONLY thing I wish for is that I opted for the larger screen, but I still love this model!

Decided to go with the 1250 just for some incline walking (12 incline + 3 mph) and some occassional running and I do have to say its been a great purchase so far. I saw the old model in store and it was huge, but this more compact and sleek design doesn’t disappoint. I am pretty happy with it so far. It’s also really sturdy considering you follow the instructions or youtube videos correctly. Only nit pick is the monitor has a small piece of screw or small object that rattles when moving the monitor around. not sure what it is but it works fine so far. Made sure to get that protection plan!

The NordicTrack 1250 is the perfect mid-sized

The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 is the perfect mid-sized treadmill with a combination of features for users of all levels. Not too big, not too small, priced exactly right. The biggest selling points include its connectivity with the iFit workout app and ten″ touchscreen, automatic trainer control, and incline/decline options. It also sports a twenty″ x 60″ tread belt, which is really the beginning of the units designed for jogging and running as opposed to walking and hiking. The biggest downside is that if you opt out of the $39 per month iFit program, the screen’s value falls flat. Measuring 78.5″x 35.6″ x 64.7″ with an in-box weight 281.6 pounds, the treadmill sports up to three hundred pounds and folds quite easily with terrific front wheels. One thing I love about folding treadmills is how much easier they are to clean, lubricate, and relocate it necessary.

Solid, quiet, well built machine, all related (strictly to the purpose) functions of this treadmill should satisfy beginners to more serious practitioners. That said, the display is useless without the program iFit. Nothing else can be displayed…no HDMI or AV connection to allow external sources. If this last is important…next model up is same mechanically, $800-1000 more but you can watch Netflix

Great mid-sized treadmill. Putting it together was pretty challenging, but it was overall a good purchase. Clean design and ideal for joggers/runners. The screen only works with an iFit subscription, but there is a manual option.

I didn’t use iFit, but the manual mode itself is great enough for me. The max speed it provides along with the incline and decline options, I think, makes it great for most people. Also, I felt happy I didn’t purchase higher-end models of this brand or something like Peloton.

I love this treadmill. Living in Western Pennsylvania, it's very hard to predict when you'll be able to run in the winter, so i bought this so i can train year round for marathons. I compared it to the next higher priced Nordictrack Commercial and i went and tested both out. I couldn't tell a difference except for the screen size. Well, i don't like watching a screen when i run anyhow (i only listen to music) so this level is very much worth the price and fits my needs!

Amazing product, seems a little difficult to assemble, but definitely shouldn’t take you more than two hours. Make sure to have someone with you, to speed up the process. This machine will help you achieve goals that you never imagined. It will hold you accountable as well as it is tracking your progress.

    Disappointed

This treadmill was initially excellent, but 8 months after purchasing it and paying $300+ for Best Buy assembly, I discovered that Best Buy's assemblers had not properly attached the console (only 2 of 4 required bolts were installed, and the heads of those two were completely stripped) AND they took the Allen wrenches that NordicTrack had supplied, which were needed to remove other bolts to gain access to the console bolts). I discovered this when the console touchscreen became unresponsive to touch, and I attribute this to Best Buy's improper assembly, which voided NordicTrack's warranty. The certified NordicTrack technician I hired to troubleshoot deemed that the console needed to be replaced. I learned from him that only used consoles were available for purchase, all from third-party sellers. I bought one via ebay and paid to have it installed by the certified tech. Thanks to him, the treadmill is back in use and working well. But, having spent more than $1000 over the treadmill's selling price in my first year of owning it, I cannot recommend this product, and especially not Best Buy's assembly service.

I love this treadmill. It does everything you can need & want. Easy to get started. Putting it together wasn't all that bad. I did it myself, but there were a couple times having another person to help would have made things a little easier. Just as a warning to others.

I am a big dude so didn’t know if the weight limit would affect the treadmill. It does not and walking on it has been easy. Only issue was there are no physical instructions and the website they push you to is for the 1750, which is similar, but not exact. Took a bit longer to assemble.
