This is the best ice cream freezer money can buy! I previously bought an "old fashioned ice cream freezer" that has a wooden bucket, which cost double the price of this one from another store. Every time I used it, I had to constantly turn the ice cream canister by hand, even though it was electric, because it would constantly get hung up. It became so frustrating that I didn't even want to use it anymore. I ordered the Nostalgia Electrics 4 quart ice cream freezer and couldn't wait until it came in. I had absolutely no problems with this one hanging up and it makes perfect ice cream! I have used it only once so far, but I can tell you from that one use, it's definitely one of those appliances that I will use all year 'round! I absolutely love this ice cream freezer!!

Ice cream is so good! After trying to read the ingredients list for the store bought stuff, I got a headache, so I don't think eating things I can not pronounce is much better. Simple ingredients simple process, great product! Cant wait for fresh fruit to try sorbets!

It took a little playing to get it going, but it works fine. The mixing speed is pretty slow and it's actually best to blend everything before putting it in this machine. Also a bit too big for the standard cupboard's storage capacity.

Great value and wonderful ice cream maker. I have used this twice a week since I purchased and I highly recommend it. So easy to use and very well made for the price.

My ice cream maker arrived on time. A few basic recipes were provided. I was expecting a few more. I haven't used it yet but I will keep you posted when I do.

This is a good ice cream maker. Seems built to last. Could come with tips & recipes.

We made a 1/2 batch of the simple vanilla ice cream with our grandson 'helping'. Then we used a flashlight to watch it mixing. Then he got to lick the remnants off the stirrer as we froze the can. Later we had home made ice cream on sour cherry pie. The ice cream maker made a special day and for 1/2 batch we just used ice from our fridge. All worked well - no problems gonna do chocolate peanut butter when the other grands arrive soon.

I gave this to a family friend's son for his wedding present. He was excited to use it and loved that I had included a recipe for non-cooked ice cream. He and his wife made some upon there return from their honeymoon and are excited to make it again for family and friends.

I purchased one for myself and one as a gift for Christmas. We all love it!

It is much quieter than Rival brand. Though it uses more ice than Rival.

Easy to use, instructions are not complicated. I am horrible in the kitchen and even I can make good ice cream with this!

This ice cream maker is very easy to use. We made plain vanilla ice cream which was just fabulous. Next time we will experiment with different flavorings and additions.
