My large Sharp microwave finally stopped working for the silly reason that the keypad "start" button wore out. I thought about fixing it and then realized that new microwaves are too inexpensive to mess around with repairs. I also realized that I didn't need the size I had because I didn't really cook as much as reheat food in the microwave. This small unit takes less counter space, is much quieter, and looks great in my modern artsy kitchen. The knobs take a little getting used to, because although everyone knows how to use a keypad, you need a little time with the user manual to figure this one out. Still the functionality is there as well as simplicity and a real handle to open the door so you don't need to search for recessed latches or use two hands to open the door. Just remember this is a compact oven and don't expect to cook a turkey in it. I'd say this is perfect for a dorm room or kitchenette.

Truly impressed with function of defrost settings. A brick of hamburger thaws to the core without cooking on the edges. Runs very quietly. Seems well made. And we bought it basically for the looks alone!

After shopping around I could not find a microwave that didn't look like a box until I came across this one. My husband and I love it.

I wanted this microwave the moment I saw it online. I ordered it in the store on a Friday and was expecting it to take 5 business days, but it was on my doorstep on Tuesday ! It is lightweight and compact, works well and does everything I need it to do. It is so cute and my teenage kids love it. I basically reheat things and cook simple things and it does a great job. Everything is heated evenly and properly. I haven't tried popcorn yet, but I will.

Wonderful unit for a single person that does not need a huge microwave. Even though they did not make microwaves in the fiifties, the nostalgic appearance is awesome and enhances my decor. Considering the price, features, ease of use and looks it was a smart purchase.

We like the look, size and price. Sales rep was awesome. It has a dial to set cooking time. Delivery was 4 days faster than we were told. The email that told us was shipped was a nice touch. Sears does that too.

Good looking, works well, simple, easy-to-use controls.

Nice little retro. Heats like the big guy. Black looks rich but if you don't like finger prints , get another color. We have a cottage but not high end, so this is very cute and a conversation piece. One dial cooking. Easy to learn. Instructions included. Have only had a week so can't testify to the longevity but good for an older couple who usually heats up coffee or leftovers.

Nice looking machine, would look good in all sorts of places besides the kitchen. Very simple to use, however it doesn't have all the fancy functions that many of todays microwaves have, just the basics, which is normally all that you need.

I bought this microwave for my husband who gets confused with all the buttons on other microwaves. This microwave has a simple "ON" button, once you turn it on, you turn the same button to set the time you wish to microwave your food. This simplistic model made a world of difference with my husband's attitude toward the microwave! It is a good one, and the retro style is perfect!

I love the look of this microwave! I have my kitchen decorated vintage and it adds to the appeal. I was concerned that it might not be has easy has my previous one but I believe it is better. I like the way the knob controls turn to right or left depending how you want to heat. I find that it heats faster than my previous model. So far I am thrilled with it! My friends also ask me where I found it and I brag that it was Best Buy!

Overall I'm happy with this product. I had never owned any Nostalgia product before. I was a bit hesitant to buy this one, but after reading all the good reviews about it. I decided to go for it. And i have to say that it hasnt dissappointed me in terms of functionality

This microwave is junk. It only lasted one week. Used it twice to heat up some food and it died. Brought it back and got a different brand.
