Although I am almost 50 I still enjoy cold treats. I decided to give this a try. My mom, husband, and I have been having a lot of fun with it. It can toss bits of fine ice over to either side but there's always a bit of a mess when in the kitchen:) We been using it for months now and I've not had a single issue with it. It seems to work much better when the hopper is full of ice than when it just has a couple of pieces. And it is plastic so don't go using it as though it's indestructible - - it's an inexpensive snow cone machine people not a high-end run all night until the booze runs out ice grinder!!

it's fast but the shavings come out a little on the chunky side. my old one did better at getting fluffy results, but it also took a lot longer.

I love that is very practicle, it is not bulky or heavy .works very well, it cuts the ice so perfectly and love it. The cleaning is easy and its a very fun for the summer. It very easy to use, just out of the box and you can used it.

It is much easier to use than the crank style snow cone maker. And it is safer because there aren't any exposed blades.

Bought this because we wanted traditional snow cones. It's retro, so cool "conversation piece". It's on the loud side, but works just like it's supposed to! Gave it a 4 just because of the noise.

This snow cone machine that I purchased was amazing. It was all and then some more that I had expected of it. The children and the older adults really enjoyed the snow cone machine with all the flavors that I purchased. We all had a wonderful time, they thought they were at the carnival. LOL

We have tried other brands in the past....this is by far a better machine. Ice shavings do miss the cone a bit but other than that it works great!!!

Absolutely brilliant design and compact at the same time

This has been a really good machine for the time I've had it. I buy my syrup from Amazon and this machine makes great shaved ice. It doesn't use as much ice as I initially thought it would and gets you from ice cubes to snow cones quickly.

I love this ice shaver. You can pretty much make any shaved ice from this. Very light, handy and easy to work with. It works just perfect. And on top of that, the price is not bad at all.

Might be small, but actually works great! We wanted something to make a quick treat and this does the job very well. Very compact, so it doesn't take up much room on your counter at all. Easy to use and easy to clean. Great value for the price!

great machine, very easy to use just add ice and plug it in and it does the rest. Have seen snow cone makers for other brands and are not as easy to use. Would have been nice if it came with more than one re-useable cone, but for the price it is a great buy. My niece loved it and uses it regularly!

Kids Love it! Great retro fun item to have for a little extra fun on a rainy day.

So easy to use, my 7 y/o puts the ice in himself and makes his own snow cones!!!

I believe we bought this for $30 on sale. Reasonable price. Does what it says. I don't know why they couldn't put a second (or third or fourth) cone in the box. The cone holder is designed to tuck under the machine when not needed. This is a nice feature, but it doesn't seem to operate the way it should. It has to be removed and reinserted to change positions. And one of the tabs already broke.

I Bought this snow maker for a childs party. it went over well. now I use it for my self and my husband. we enjoy the snow cones when it is hot out.

Quick treat for the kids....Can use juice instead of slushee mix for a healthier treat....can use the ice for quick smoothies, and THE easiest margaritas for Mommy-time!!
