Beautiful steelbook, excellent interior design, very entertaining B+ film

Leterrier’s new film, "Now You See Me," is in some ways a return to his roots. Like his two "Transporter" movies, it’s light on seriousness and heavy on style — a razzle-dazzle fantasy about a team of bank-robbing illusionists. It’s slick, deliberately silly, and sprinkled with visual confetti — Steadicam spins, lens flares, CGI trick shots.. Just as unusually — at least for an effects-heavy production — it's shot on celluloid with anamorphic lenses. This gives the movie a retro visual texture and a more classical sense of widescreen space; the trade-off is that the digital effects look less convincing than they would in a digitally-shot movie. However, in a film where nothing is supposed to be credible, mediocre CGI seems appropriate. It’s not meant to seem realistic, so why should it look real?

I, personally, really enjoy this series. All two movies. I wish they did better at the box office, so they could have at least made this a trilogy. I LOVE the cast as a whole, and the magic is fun. I would highly recommend anyone check out both movies. The steel book looks great, although finding one that wasn't dented was a challenge.

Good movie, a bit heist a bit magic and fun overall. And absolutely love watching the rich and evil see consequences is always good... too bad thats more fantasy then the magic part. The steelbook design is nice really like the classy clean, playing card inspiration. Hope they do the 2nd in the same way.

Despite the reviews from the so called professionals, this movie was a surprise when i saw it in theaters, great acted, excellent cast, great direction, excellent music, great plot. Maybe the last sequence a little cliche. But great overall. Hope it gets a sequel.

The Geek Agents are very helpful, they fixed the problems and trained me in how to utilize the changes and repairs made. I am very pleased with the benefits of the year service contract and that it covers all my computers and also audio install on my auto.

Having seen this movie when it first came out years ago, it's great to finally own it so that I can rewatch whenever I want. It's a bit of a popcorn movie but has a great cast and a decent story that makes for a very enjoyable time!

A greatly underrated movie, and a wonderfully designed steelbook. If you're a fan of Mission Impossible, but want a bit more dazzle and flair, this movie is for you. Love the playing card aesthetic of the steel artwork, too!

I thoroughly enjoyed this original film. I know certain movies aren't for everybody but this was a good one to sit down and enjoy. I'm looking forward to watching the sequel hoping it lives up to this original film.

This is a fun movie to watch, with a great cast. Using their magical talents, this group of magicians will keep you guessing at every turn, right to the end. They appear to be a band of thieves, dedicated to stealing huge sums of money. But...guess again.

Got this movie for my parents since it was the $5 deal and their first Blu-ray. Had decent quality And on their new 65-in 4K TV they just couldn't believe the realistic image.

If you have seen this movie you need to go out and see the 2nd part. They are both good movies full of mystery and emotional roller coasters and twists.

Good quality, got this item on discount, comes with dvd and digital codes, would recommend to anybody interested because the price was right.

The closer you think you are the less you'll actually see. A great "what was that" movie. Out oceans, Oceans 8, 9, 10 & 11.

Much better than the sequel, this film sets the stage and introduces the wonderful cast. Suspenseful and full of surprises.

Great movie for magic lovers. Watched it with my husband and we liked it so much we had to buy the second movie.

Awesome characters. Story was a little slow at first but did not disappoint in the end. Watch the first one first. Good luck figuring it out.
