    Plenty powerful! This thing would turn scrap lumber into wood pulp! One word of caution: it's almost impossible to hand wash the blades without cutting yourself. If you don't own a dishwasher, stock up on band aids!

    Purchased the Ninja blender last month based on reading reviews for a good blender. Had an old blender that wasn't able to get frozen fruit to blend well for a smoothie. We decided to go and get the Ninja and it's making smoothies just great. No issues breaking down the frozen fruit or ice. Only thing is there is a warning about not using hot items in the blender. Also the blades in the blender are super sharp. So definitely be careful when cleaning.
