Terrible design and product

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it for the insulated pot (our previous Ninja had one too) and the increased capacity. It doesn't hold anymore than the old pot *which was a 12-cup, and the insulated pot is terrible. It doesn't hold the heat, the lid doesn't lock well which means if you are pouring towards the end of the pot, the lid comes off and spills coffee. It is supposed to beep when the coffee is done, sometimes it does one beep, sometimes it beeps 20 times and turns itself off, sometimes it never beeps. The water container is awkward to get in and out for refilling and cleaning. The water level markings are on the outside of the container and come off when they get wet - on a water container. It is not nearly the quality product I thought it would be, especially for the price. I could have bought a $20 Mr Coffee that would have been better than this.
