This is a outstanding card, an absolute beast of a gaming card! This is a top shelf, A+, enthusiast grade graphics card. The GTX 1070 is best single gaming graphics card you can buy right now. Period. And IMHO, this EVGA 1070 is the best GTX 1070 out right now. I was very pleased with the looks of this card, and with the size. It's not small by any means, but it's shorter than I thought and easily fit in my Antec case. Performance wise, I was blown away. I test played GTAV for almost 3 hours after getting everything installed and updated, and I'm talking about on a Dell 27" 4k IPS monitor. I got a solid and rock steady 60FPS on GTAV with all Ultra settings (no V-Sync either) in 4k!. It's bumping up against or matching the refresh rate of 60Hz obviously, but the frame rate didn't dip or drop down. It was weird like the card was actually being held back by the 4K monitor's 60Hz refresh. Astounding. Very impressed. The card's clock seems to boost automatically, and is very quiet. I mean really almost completely silent. This card runs very cool. While gaming with a 55% fan profile, the card stayed in the low to mid 60s (C) and was silent. Yes this is a high end card and its pricey even at it's "regular" price. But if you can afford it, it is well worth the money. I love this card. Can't wait to really start putting it through some paces and benching. I hear no coil whine, nor see any other issues with this card. Nvidia hit the nail on the head with this one.

best graphics card i ever bought when i got it still using to this day even re-painted the backplate to kinda re-spark that beauty to it, still reliable as long as you do some yearly maintinence on it and clean it inside and out only if you know what you're doing/

I haven't experienced anything like this in the gaming world before. Everything is running flawless. I try to tax this thing and give it a workout but it hasn't been able to break a sweat. All games on ultra resolution without a stutter. 60 fps+ at all times on every title I've thrown at it. For this price I feel this is a fantastic product that is definitely future proof for a good many years. Also relatively quiet and runs pretty cool temperature wise. 3D mark benchmarks but my modest rig in the top 10% with this card.

Nvidia does it again with another great video card. No complaints. Runs great overclocked and is whisper quiet. 4K gaming and VR at a smooth fps. Love it

The GTX 1070 is an exceptional performer for the price. It'll play anything you throw at it in 1080p resolution with no issues and it can handle the current crop of VR games easily. If you're looking to play games in 4K resolution, though, the 1070 won't be quite up to the task. For an enthusiast who is looking to enjoy modern games and most titles into the foreseeable future at HD resolution, the 1070 is an excellent investment. If you're looking to get into VR, the 1070 is a great starting point and has a lot of potential going forward, especially if Nvidia's VRWorks technology takes off.

This 1070 cranks! I upgraded from a R9 280X and the difference between the cards is incredible! Everything runs on Ultra for my 1080P monitor, and I feel I will be able to run Ultra for a 4K monitor in the near future!

This card has been serving me very well for the past month and a half, almost. Not only does this card perform extremely well out of the box, but the card, in my opinion, looks stellar. I really like the look of cards directly from Nvidia. This card went well with the case that I chose. Personally, I am not the biggest fan of the other cards out there in terms of aesthetics. This card looks very clean. This card also performs very well too. In all the games that I have played so far; Far Cry 3, Overwatch, Mad Max, Dirt Rally, Tomb Raider, it has been immensely satisfying to go into the games' menus, set the resolution to my monitor's native resolution (1440p 144hz 1ms response), and crank the settings to max. The games I mentioned also are pulling frames above 60 fps consistently. This is without any overclocking. I have heard from others that overclocking is difficult and clock speeds are lower than other after market cards, which is true due to the blower style cooler, but so far I have had no need to overclock my card. I am happy with the out of box performance, and the blower style is aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. I am sure that the need for overclocking will come in the future. On a side note, Nvidia really knows how to package there products and create an unboxing experience like none other. Opening the packaging the card came in was such a pleasant experience I really did not want to throw the box away because it was such a nice box. This may sound weird, but you really should experience this yourself.

The new technology rolled out in Pascal is amazing,, This card even overclocked and under full game mode was barely noticeable, And all possible with just ( 1 ) 8 pin power cable. My old 980 took 2. Runs game at 2k flawlessly,, 4k can happen using this card but you have to turn the eye candy down,, so I say this card is fine for 2k gaming,, But if you want 4k playable with eye candy , you need to go to the 1080,, so if you are on a budget this card delivers excellent 2k gaming,, its overkill for 1920 x 1080.

This card has ran every game I've thrown at it very well. All on ultra settings. May not be the 1080, but it's still a solid card, and mine has overclocked very well.

he 1070 has been flawless with gaming, graphics are stunning and well worth the price. although I would have liked a 1080, the 1070 was a little bit cheaper and still worth getting.I was using a gtx 670, and now with the 1070 I see even better graphics and speed in gaming, and visuals in games on ultra setting with no stuttering or screen tearing.

Upgraded from my EVGA 970 ACX to this, and I haven't looked back since! This is a fantastic card for those like me who still play in 1080p and aren't concerned with 4K just yet. If you're torn between this and a 1080, I promise that this is enough to future proof you for another two years at minimum.

Bought it to "upgrade" my Evga 980ti FTW, which can do 1470 core 100% stable in game. After finding the highest stable OC of the 1070, which is about 1580-1600 core, yet it is about 95% of the FPS of my 980ti, at least for the game I play. The card is quiet, despite the reference blower cooler, and runs at about 65-70 under load, and takes about 40-50w of power less than 980ti. Overall very good, and about the same as a 980ti in terms of performance, but runs cooler and uses less power.

Even though I was put on backorder for little over a month before Best Buy was able to ship the product; once I got it, it’s great. No issues, running games on max settings no problems. For my setup I don’t hear it to be any louder than others. Overall it’s an amazing investment and should be able to last for a few years before games become to complex. Looks good too but pretty large.

Put this in my sons computer, almost as good as a Evga 1070 FTW , put a water block on this card from EKWB and it keeps the card very cool. Great card for the price.

I had no plans to purchase this card, as I had planned to purchase a GTX 970 for my son. However, when this card was released, I decided to purchase it for my system and pass down my GTX 970 to my son. The card performs as expected. I had $325 in gift cards I had been saving for a while that eased the blow of the purchase price, so for me it was much more affordable. I recommend, if you have the budget, if not, the 970's, 980's and 980TI's are still decent cards that are more affordable now and still good cards for 1080P gaming. Lastly, I know the partner cards add many more features, such as factory overclocking and aftermarket coolers but I personally prefer the reference design cards built by NVIDIA.

I have always used NVidia graphics cards. I find them to be absolutely top quality. I am not running down the competition. NVidia products are worth the money and this is no exception. Absolutely excellent graphics, even on my older monitors using adapters. One Warning: It has 1 HDMI port, 1 DVI port and 4 Display Ports. Be aware that you may have to use an adapter or buy a new monitor. It would be best to wait until the models with display port inputs are less expensive. Absolutely recommended. Easy to install, easy to setup, and easy to upgrade the drivers on your computer. You may have to wait a few minutes after installing the drivers and GEForce Experience Software to be able to optimize your game.

Waited for Graphics cards to get reasonably priced. $399 is what it is worth and that is what I paid. Works well in my Hackintosh, Windows and Linux machine. Paired with the i7 8700 and 16 Gigs of Ram. Will add another 16 when RAM becomes reasonable. The Founders edition is a really good card as reviewed on Toms Hardware. A comparable card might be a AMD Vega 56 but at double the price. It hits the sweet spot. Much better than a 1060 6 Gig (still to expensive at the time of review) for what you get. Not a 1080 but i do not plan to game in 4K. Works nicely with Blender on all operating systems. Great engineering but expensive piece of electonics. Overall very happy with my purchase. Cheers!
