If you have done your research then you know what you are buying into. This is a really great card and is future proof. Look up its capabilities on youtube and see how it will benefit you for your uses. Besides gaming I have noticed a significant increase in render speed using Adobe After Effects and Premiere pro!!!! Well worth the money if you are into video editing.

upgraded from a GTX780 card is over 2x as fast and much more quiet than the old one.

Can play every game in 4K. Runs smoothly and have no problems with it.

My old video card went out on me so I decided to go all out. Bought the GTX 980 now so that as games advance, I'm already to go. Graphics and color are amazing. Went out and bought new g-sync monitor to match the capabilities of the graphics card. Shadowplay is pretty cool to. I can record game play and watch it later or send to a friend.

This card can do it all. I am running 5 monitors with this card and it has no issue of course. When it comes to games, I haven't found a game where i need to lower the graphics yet. Nvidia has always blown AMD out of the water in terms of performance. I plan on buying another eventually to SLI the two cards together.

Pretty decent when it comes to performance compared to the 980 ti version and the new 1090 version ( which are excellent and expensive ). It came from the one who manilufacture the chipset of all gpus. The only con is, Nvidia does not have its own software to tweek this gpu. I am now in the process of using MSI or EVGA's overclocking software. Will post again. Otherwise, good, well build, and solid product.

This product is a worth while purchase. It gives your graphic intensive games some of the best performance possible. Yes performance is the goal here, being able to play your favorite games with all the setting maxed out is the best part. Coupling it with a monitor that supports Gsync does even more justice. So if you have the cash and a little know how you can have this improve not only your gaming or 3d graphics in work, or play. If you do not know much about graphics cards buy the right product for your needs is important. Hopefully the sales rep is knowledgeable about which card you would need.

Had a few issues getting it installed. Totally blame my husbands lack of experience in that area. Once tech support helped us with it all was good. Runs great, no glitches or issues. My husband is in love with it and ready to buy a second one to run with it.

This card is amazing, it can handle all games at 1080p at 60 FPS with no issue. The card also does not run as hot during graphic intensive games, for me during full load it runs around 70C.

The 980 is a great card, but at this price point there are better cards available. If you get it on sale though, it would be a great deal. The power usage of the new model cards is amazing and it smashes new titles with ease.

Got a great deal on this video card and paired it with a Asus ROG gsync monitor and this beast makes games look AMAZING. Smooth as butter 1440p gaming. Easy to overclock.

I had bought this GPU knowing it would work just fine. But after using it for awhile. I wound up with a second 980 and running SLI. Great Company and Great GPU

Super nice looking card, runs absolutely every game i try on it at ultra settings, cant wait to use it for the oculus rift

This card is above the minimum requirements for Oculus Rift, and is the lowest you can get away with on Elite: Dangerous. Just make sure you have plenty of space in your case as it is looong!

It was beyond my expectation I would recommend it strongly for anyone who wants to upgrade in this price range

My son is very happy with it! He was able to install it easily, my only problem is getting him off of the computer now!

Installing this card was a snap. Drivers loaded easily and it runs as cool as it looks.

Initially bought the GTX 970, but exchanged for the GTX 980 because of the VRAM issue and because I think the increased performance is worth the extra price.

This was my 4th GTX 980, I grabbed it at Best Buy because the online retailer was out of stock, and this one had an Nvidia Game Code for a free game. I am now on GTX Titan X's, but the 980's still reign supreme. Low thermal footprint, low TDP and best of all, it's quiet and has better driver and game support than the other brand. I'm glad Best Buy started carrying Enthusiast cards. Now just in time for VR they will have the 980's and 980 ti's in stock.

The graphics card is a beast, i bought 2 for sli. But i cant give a perfect score because bestbuy is horrible at free download game codes that your supposed to get when you buy this game. Now i have to waste time out of my day and deal with trying to get my free nvidia bullets or blades
