It is huge....make sure you have plenty of clearance for this big boy. Although the 3090 is only 15-18% faster than the less expensive 3080. It is still a really good GPU. Especially if the 3090 is what you can currently get right now in this market. In my opinion, spending the little extra for the VRAM is worth it. I do not do 3D rendering at the moment. But it is nice to have at this time. It is always better to have than to need. For those wanting to have the little extra on your games. the 3090 with the 24GB of VRAM is worth it. Mainly because a lot more games require the extra VRAM for the textures and extra features that are in games. I set Middle of Earth: Shadow of War to the Ultra with textures at the highest settings. and 8GB plus of VRAM was being used. And that is an older game. The fans on the GPU are a little loud when under load. But if you wear a headset and have your computer a decent distance. You can hardly notice the fan. Currently running the 3090 with an older CPU. I am in the process of setting up my computer with a 5900x and motherboard to help with the bottleneck. Most games with highest settings like Cold War and Modern Warefare. I am running everything almost the highest settings with 100 to 144 FPS on 1440p resolution. If you're able to get this 3090 FE GPU. And are not able to get a 3080. And have been tempted to buy from a scalper. Most scalpers are selling their 3080s for almost the same price range. At that point, you might as well buy 3090 Founder Edition.

This bad boy is amazing! I made the jump from a 1070 gigabyte and WOW what a difference.... Im running games with no issues, of course after updating the rest of my system. Biggest thing i noticed with this card is that it will run HOT HOT HOT!! The memory has reached some very high temps. Pumping my fans up does help though!

This card is not only a beast, it's huge. BFGPU. Run cool and barely with fan setting around 50%. After 6 months of trying, I finally landed one. Love the RGB too. If the GeForce RTX logo has other beside white would be nice. As big as the card is, I thought it would sag once installed but boy I was wrong. Very well built! Worth every pennies. Running everything high with no studder.

This is not value-town. That's two cards over with the 3080. This is what you get when you have more money than sense. It does exactly what you would expect, which is to say it turns electricity into FRAMES and HEAT at a massive rate. Speaking of massive, this thing is a CHONK. Basically a three slot card with the weight of a dying star.

GPU is very big, heavy, and is a monster. Turn on all presets in the gaming and this card should be great for the long term gaming and should be able to skip two product cycles. Super over power for the time. I got very lucky to wait in line and get the last one at the store drop. Don't overpay to resale people and just be patient. I wanted the RTX 3080

Where to even start with this one? Well I guess I'll begin with the most important thing: Performance. This card has performance in spades! I run with a 4k 144 Hz monitor, and so far there is only one game which causes this card to even show any sweat, and that's Cyber Punk 2077... but that's to be expected. Everywhere else this card absolutely kills it! Apex on ultra @4k can now be plated at 144 Hz! Minecraft RTX is absolutely stunning (and taxing). And Metro Exodus finally has a worthy card to run on. Sorry 2080ti, you just weren't good enough. In order of importance, cooling is next. Does this card run insanely cool? YES! Can you OC the snot out of this card and still have it run cool? YES! I have not seen my card, which OCs to over 2.1Ghz with a 114% power target and over volt, hit a temp higher than 63C. I only wish it had more power headroom, because the thermal solution can absolutely handle it. Finally aesthetics. This is very opinionated, but I find the card to be very aesthetically charming. From it's sheer size to the minimalist lighting, it's just an absolute beauty! Looks good in any case. If you can fork over the cash and have a system that can take advantage of this raw computing power, you will find nothing better on the market right now.

The build quality and finishes have exceeded my expectations. Upgrading from a Titan Xp and performance jump is quite remarkable. Fair warning, this card is very large and thick. Make sure you take into account the dimensions of the card to make sure your current PC has enough space to install this card.

I did not have to wait outside to get this video card. A friend of mine had to wait overnight for a 3080 FE. He got his and I got to the store about 50 minutes after "opening" and I went in, bought this card, and walked out. This card is a BEAST! Fits nicely in my Corsair C70 case (green). I only use Folding@home to "burn-in" this video card. By itself the card goes as high as 97C. I removed the side case panel and placed my unused AMD Wraith heatsink (sans fan) on top of the backplate. I used a 120mm fan on top of the Wraith cooler (has a longer power cord) - temps while folding were below 92C. I have heard about using better thermal pads to reduce temps, but I don't feel comfortable taking this apart to do this. This card is being fed by a Corsair RM850i. In games - wow!!! I play LoTRo and the only limitation now is the outdated 64bit engine. But the visuals with everything turned up is phenomenal. I may look into adding more heatsinks to areas that the RAM are actually located.

Good: Quiet during normal gaming. Fastest single card available at the time. Much cheaper than other brands as its the only one at MSRP. Bad: Memory intensive tasks make the system throttle and fans go to maximum, which then sounds like a jet engine. While the front memory has a giant heatsink, the back has a thin piece of aluminum. Its also incredibly heavy for a video card, the price of said heatsink. Sadly this will be the only one a lot of us can get. Bezos place is run by bots and the egg has a raffle for the privilege of scalper prices.

Still going strong after nearly 3 years so I guess I can't really complain. It has performed flawlessly and has no problems running whatever I decide to play. Three more years of use and it might actually be worth what I payed for it.

The RTX 3090 is by far one of the best graphics cards money can buy at the time of this writing. It handles just about every application I throw at it without hesitation. With that said, one suggestion I can make to present and future potential owners of the RTX 3090 is to replace the thermal pads that come preinstalled from the factory as quite frankly, they aren't the best of quality. And it's evident when taking a look at the memory temperatures whenever the 3090 is under load and also the extremely loud fan noises that come as a result. After replacing the stock thermal pads, the memory temperatures dropped drastically and it in general overall made the card quieter. Other than that, I have no regrets about grabbing the Founder's Edition 3090, it's a very sleek-looking card, and as far as I can tell the only 3090 that can be had for MSRP, so it's a great value in that regard.

While it is a difficult product to get hands on, it is still possible for actual consumers to get a 3000’s series card by Nvidia if you use the Best Buy app. The card I received has very good temps (29C idle and 67C under max load) and clocks very well, over 2000 MHz using MSI Afterburner though your mileage may vary. Most AAA titles can run native 4k maxed settings with RTX on at about 90 to 120 FPS depending on your system specs. While a 3080 would more than suffice for most people, a 3090 is best for those who want the absolute best performance or could use the extra features this card offers. I recommend pairing with an 10th gen i7 or better or the new AMD 5000 series for best results. This card REQUIRES at minimum an 850 watt power supply and each 8 pin connector must have its own cable (not a dual 8 pin jumper sharing a single cable). I recommend an EVGA or Corsair 1000W power supply to allow for over locking and performance headroom. All in all, if you can catch a drop (mostly on Fridays around 1:00 CST) it’s a great card for more than just gaming.

BEAUTIFUL GPU. I was lucky to have been able to get this due to how rare they are. The price in my opinion is not worth it. This is more of a streaming or heavy workload card but maybe in the future when 8k gaming is a thing it will have more value. You will be future proof for a long time to come tho.

Beast of a card meant for niche consumers. Understand what you're paying for. Performance wise is close to the 3080 but the additional VRAM is where the values at. You're not running 8k at 144hz, but you can manage 2k monitors at 240hz. Boy this is card chunky!

A bit big (3 slots) and heavy (7lbs), but that’s what you get with the biggest and baddest GPU on the market. Will chew through most anything you can throw at it (4K gaming) and even earn you some money on the side when you’re not using it (120 mh/s).

First off, I must commend Best Buy in making it possible for so many of us to have better odds of purchasing from their online store vs. scalpers with bots that have automated most sites' purchasing steps. HUGE KUDOS TO YOU BEST BUY! Secondly, this card is THICC! I wanted a 3080 and definitely do not NEED the 3090, but it was what was available and now I got it. Fits snug in the case. Graphics and performance are phenomal. I moved up from my first custom PC build with a GTX 980 to now the 3090. It's a night and day difference and I'm highly satisfied with the purchase. The cost is ridiculous but so is the inventory on these new GPUs. I've had all my PC parts for 4 months before I could finally secure a GPU. Just get what you can get and it'll be worth it. Temperatures are great. Frames are great. Now I'm gaming on 4k and having a blast doing so. Thanks Best Buy and nVidia!!

The 3090 was a replacement for my 1080 and it has been a stellar experience. The quality is stellar and the GPU brings new technology to the fore that makes computing experience more worthwhile than ever. One would not think that a GPU would be involved in processing sound, but the 3090 does and facilities processing the sound to eliminate distortion. It also, of course, does an excellent job with video. The benchmarks really took off when the 1080 struggled with the processing. The card runs surprisingly cool for all the work it does. It's a bit snug in the case, but it fits. Processing videos is faster than ever and it is really good at processing 4K at 60 frames per second. It's really sturdy too. It seems like it last for a very long time. Over all, if you have the resources, this is the top of the line video card to get.

This thing is incredible. Coming from a 2080S I’m getting almost, if not double the performance. Black ops Cold War went from 110 fps to 210+ fps in 1440p. I wanted a 3080 to be honest because it’s a better value for me; but I’m not complaining at all.

It's an RTX 3090. It's the single best performing card for modern ray traced games. It has more VRAM than any game could possibly use. What more is there to say? The only con is its ridiculous size and weight. I bought a cheap GPU stand to help support it.
