Easily worth the money. The AI upgrade alone makes this worth the cost. I have it fully loaded with everything imaginable and I still don’t come close to filling it up. And even if I did, the solution is impossibly easy.

Best Android Box out there on the market, hands down. With a little online research, you can customize the Nvidia Shield TV just the way you like it and make it even better than its default settings. Fantastic device and I absolutely love it!

Expensive but worth it. The android interface puts almost all (except Netflix) your content on one screen. Replaced an old laptop with this to use as a plex server and it's a great device to use for emulators if you're looking to play retro games.

Got this to attach two 5GB external drives to share content on Plex. Super easy to set up and great features for an all-in-one streaming services manager. Haven’t tried the gaming aspect yet, but it’s been worth every penny so far.

I've been using set top boxes over ten years now and none of them come close to this thing, I had ordered another box from Sky Stream that I never received or my money back and that is why I purchased the shield, glad I did.

Yes it has less memory than the model it replaced and it does not include the base. That said the new remote more than makes up for it. That and being one of the few Android TV devices with Prime Video make this hands down one of the best TV boxes anywhere.

Great Streaming device, easy to download media apps, and works well with any TV. If you have newer TV with built in apps, I guess it would be optional. I just like that it has Google voice, so I can be walking around and have it change things on my TV with that handy remote. It also has awesome NVIDIA video processor with 16GB memory for uninterupted streaming.

Love it. Got a 2017 model when they came out and got rid of satellite. I'm 100% streaming and you can't beat the Shield. Moved old one to the bedroom and bought this new one. The new remote is WAY better and I'll be getting one of them for the older Shield as well.

I love this addition to my tv and having a remote makes it so easy to use. I can add apps and so many option for watching tv. I feel like I have cable.

I returned this unit because it wasn't quite what I needed (ended up just getting a new TV altogether), but I really did enjoy it while I had it. I might pick it up again in the future. It's really expensive, though.

Super snappy and works without a hiccup. Stays uo to date and handles dolby atmos with no issue. Plan on getting plex server setup in the future.

If you are at all considering a roku, then just read about the nvidia shield as its upscaling from 1080p to 4K is nothing short of amazing. Lots of youtube reviews on this product, and I suggest you see how much better this does than the cheaper products.

The Shield is a fantastic streaming device. Not bound by the Amazon interface, and runs Plex client like a dream. I’ve run 4k HDR with no issues, and it passes Dolby without any issues. If you need an unobtrusive streaming device with snappy performance, look no further.

The Nvidia Shield may be a bit pricey (this is subjective) but in my opinion, it is absolutely the best! If you can manage the cost....you will not be disappointed! This was my second purchase of the Shield. I enjoy mine so much that I bought this one for my father.

Mixed this with an internet connection and it is is a great cord cutter! I use philo tv for live tv and it upscales it to 4k looks so good!!! You also want to goto the app store and download some free apps for free movies named, Pluto TV, TubiTV, XUMO. You can even pair this with a TV Tuner hooked to a digital antenna to get free local channels! I am so glad i bought this! Never tried gaming on it so cant comment on that. I am definitely blown away how it upscales 720p and makes it look like 4K tv. I highly suggest this doo dad! Fire stick, roku etc etc none come close to this!!!

This device is like a firestick on steroids! I know its pricey but its worth it.
