This little machine could play anything you throw at it. Videos that my Core i7 R9 290 machine had trouble playing was no problem. It's fully compliant with the HEVC, H.265 codec means you are future proof because H.265 will eventually be the main successor to H.264. Recent update makes this a Plex server! The amount of support that is put into this system is paramount and new updates makes it better every time. I will buy this machine even if it's $400 tbh.

i bought this for the higher specs and gaming controller thought i might use it for some emulators but it's just not worth it the fire tv seems much friendlier. also my first one was defective i had to replace it. 3 amazon boxes all good.

The Shield was better than the firesticks I have and I really enjoy watching TV via Kodi and various add-ons. This device has allow us to turn off our cable bill and that was the goal when I started this investment. My young grand children love the games the shield supports and the controller plays like a PS4 or XBOX. Looking at BESTBUY.COM now and seeing the HD antennas as part of the new bundle make this a better experience.

I was recommended this by a friend and have not been disappointed. The device is super fast and has no problems at all streaming all of the content that I stream. Ive also used it with my PC and streamed some games over from it. Even though it is connected via wifi it still worked very well. I imaged if i had a wired connection to it, it would be seamless. I love this thing, probably the best android streaming device on the market.

I replaced my now-deprecated Vizio Google TV STB with this, and cannot believe just how great it is. The built-in Chromecast support means less input-switching, which serves as the icing on top of the already great Android TV features, such as very good navigation and voice searching. The only thing I miss from the Google TV is the HDMI passthrough connection, which conveniently limited the number of remote controls I had to use.
