Don't let the small size fool you! The Shield does it all. Movie's, music and GAMES! Fast and powerful. One issue is there doesn't appear to be a way to turn it on remotely, though you can turn it off with the game pad. Also, invest in the stand. It looks much better standing up!

Nvidia Shield is great no longer do I need my chromecast or have to struggle with outdated tv, so called, smart apps! Since this is a android product updates are more frequent. I have a Sony 4k tv and apps were not getting updated. With the Shield hardwired and connected to my tv streaming is flawless. Also the fact that it's able to be hooked up to a computer to play games is a plus in addition to streaming games.

Fast processor and I love it. I have had an Apple TV before but I am loving this android box.

Stream is smooth, games are great, Even got party games that are a lot of fun for 3-12 ppl

get media streaming with Netflix , tv show watching with hulu, and gaming all in one :) I need to upgrade my pc video card to try the shadow feature but loving it so far. with the built in 500gb hard drive I can rip down my kids dvd movies to video files and play them with KODI keeping the kids fingers off the dvd's

This thing is amazing. The picture quality is unbelievable doesn't freeze loads up really fast and it has chromecast build in which is a plus. Bought it mainly to watch videos haven't played any video games on it yet. Really recommend this to anyone!

It does what its advertised to do. The streaming from my PC to my TV is absolutely amazing. The only thing I dislike are the lack of additional features.

If you are looking to stream media and games then here is the best solution. It simply puts Amazon Fire TV to shame. If you don't mind the price, that is. I bought one for the family and I have no regrets. We definitely have gotten our moneys worth.

Great little machine makes me one step closer to cutting the cord. Still have a problem getting 5.1 surround to work in some apps, Netflix works great. With the minor problems I have with this (user error and/or app error) still a great little box

This is the best implementation of Android TV on the market. It's probably expensive for most, but for those who can afford it, it's a good buy. Gaming is awesome! NVIDIA Shield GRID works better than I expected. This is the best micro-console for gaming. Other than the cost, the other thing that holds this system back is that the Android TV apps/games (ie. Play Store) needs to mature more. I expect great things from this device in the future.

Shield is great for apps like Kodi and Netflix. The marshmallow upgrade was a nice surprise as well.

I've been using android tv boxes for a few years and have always had problems using Kodi(previously XBMC). Many times with the old hardware streams did not work or would stutter or worst yet stop in the middle of a movie. So after reading many reviews of the Nvidia Shield TV I decided to purchase the 16GB model. After setting up I downloaded Kodi and set up all the options and wow, this device just works! I've never had a problem with a movie starting and stopping like before, sure there are still issues streams that don't work but that's not because of the hardware. I only use the Shield TV for Kodi, I haven't tried the other features except for casting from my tablet, which works great as well. I highly recommend this to anyone who uses Kodi.

Its working great.. really fast .. good for gaming and streaming.

Bought this and loaded kodi, runs great and is fast loading stream,. Buffering is a lot better, hardly any. Wish they had a better remote one with keyboard built in, I'll try a non brand and see how it works. Overall very pleased.

The shield will handle anything you throw at it and then some

I purchased this to use in my living room on my 4k tv. Works perfectly with all my digital subscriptions, Netflix and slingtv. I got rid of TWC Because of it. Definitely recommend for your living room entertainment.
