These remotes are fantastic. Work flawlessly with Shield TV. Respond to touch very well and have adequate buttons to perform the task. My issue being this is my third remote, because apparently they are tasty to my two puppies. Out of all the chew toys and bones and "indestructible" furry toys, my doggies apparently cant get enough of these delicious remotes.

Good replacement remote. Make sure you set the volume in the Shield so that you can use your TV remote to adjust the volume to your desire. Remote is sensitive; you can accidentally press the dedicated Netflix button without much effort.

Excellent remote for nvidia shield. Works much better than the remote than came with the device. I like the volume controls much better. It lights up with is handy. Comfortable to hold.

Works much better than the previous generation remote. Only minor issue is I'll accidentally press netflix button while picking it up weirdly often...otherwise works perfectly.

EXCELLENT replacement for remote that came with NVIDIA SHEILD TV. Backlight great add on, and just overall EASIER to use than the one that came with the SHIELD TV in the first place

It's like a perfect fit tv remote it lights-up in your hand on contact to show your button. fit well in your hand, it just have a nice feel to it very satisfied

I love the original Shield remote but after a few years the internal battery will no longer hold a charge or in the case of the removable battery spare I had, stopped working entirely. Either way I eventually had to buy this version and although I am NOT a fan of the triangular design I do like everything else about the remote. The best part is the switch to a single double A battery. This ensures I wont have any more issues like I have in the past. I also like the programmable keys. Overall if you have an Nvidia Shield TV then you will like this remote.

Purchased this remote to replace the factory small remote for a Shield 2017 model. The remote is better in every way. Better ergonomics, better battery technology using commonly available batteries, better button layout, and more direct access hard buttons. Just be aware that if you have multiple Shield TV streamers in the house, you'll have to make sure when pairing that it does not get paired to more than one Shield. Realized that when pairing, it paired with a second Shield in the house and was controlling both until we unpaired it from the 2nd unit.

I got the 2017 version of the Nvidia Sheld, and I like it, but I didn't like how quickly the batteries died in the remote. This remote has more features with it, and going from the CR2032 batteries to the AAA is great change. Programming was easy and simple and took no time.

Simple, ergonomic, easy to use. It does exactly what a remote needs to do without needing a long setup or user manual.

Got this for my 2015 Shield. I also have 2019 Shield & 2019 Pro Shield so I already knew what I was getting. Definitely worth the $30 if you are still using the old rechargeable style. Everything about this new remote is better. This is the remote that should've been standard from the beginning.

Remote is a huge improvement over the original sheild remote.Very quock and responsive and the backlot buttons are a god send. The remote also has a lost remote finder when synced to the nvidia app.

While not perfect, this remote is MUCH better than the one that comes with the Shield. The Netflix button is way too easy to push and it takes some getting used to the shape. The battery cover is also annoying to take off, but it does have good battery life. Overall, a good replacement for the awful stock remote.

Works great with my 2015 Shield that cam sans remote. More convenient than the original remote in many ways, and more convenient than using the game controllers for streaming videos. The shape feels good in the hands.

I needed a replacement remote for my ShieldTV due to dropping my current one, I did not think Best Buy would have one in stock, but they did aand I was able to order one online on pick up at the store, the new remote is working fine.
