Very nice,plug and play after long firmware update. But then you get to play and get apps. and play etc the16 gb isn’t enough if you want apps and games get a ext, hard drive 1tb for fifty ain’t bad.

Nvidia shield is the best Android TV, hands down. 4k content, quick processor, great built quality. Price is high, If Nvidia can price it at $149.99 they will take over the 80% of Android TV market.

I actually purchased 2 of these! Completely replaces the firestick, firetv, roku, etc as a streaming device. Excellent build quality, 2 usb 3.0 ports to expand memory and very easy to set-up and use!

The nvidia shield would be better if it had a cheaper price point. The build quality is great, the controller is solid and fits the hands better than an xbox controller. For streaming video it does a great job(kodi,youtube). When it comes to gaming then not so much.. Theres only a small percent of what can be played as to what is actually on the Play Store. Of those games some are not worth dealing with because of the adds. Nvidia does have a play store that you can download and steam games but @ around 8.00 per month. If ur looking for something to carry with you on vacation or out of town work, its very compact.

I bought this with some doubt, but it ended out being a very good product for the use i needed, that is Netflix, Amazon Video and Plex client. I can change fast between the apps with no trouble and the configuration was easy. The only set back was that the batteries of the remote were exhausted but once changed, everything worked fine.

With fire sticks overheating due to prolonged use this nvidia shield was just the cure for streaming shows from Netflix. It works flawlessly so far and it voice control compatible. Love it.

love the power and fact that it just works. the fact that it now comes with the remote and controller made it and easy decision. tried cheaper android devices and there is just no comparison.

I have tried a lot of other options for media streaming and this by far is the best one yet. It's fast, looks great, and does everything you would expect. I think it's well worth the money.

This thing is so small, but it packs so much power. Not only does it stream videos and movies at HD resolutions. It also streams a library of high quality games from Nvidia's gaming library. This box can stream games like Batman Arkham City and not miss a beat. I'm highly impressed with the power this box has. No more overheating issues like with the FireTV Stick. Nvidia has done an outstanding job with this streaming box. I highly recommend!!!

I was looking to add android to my TV to maximize content and I have not been disappointed. The shield was easy to set up, and i was able to access content immediately. Plenty of apps and very fast operating system. I just think they could have swapped the position of a couple buttons on the remote to make it more intuitive.

The NVIDIA Shield is without a doubt the best solution for streaming. The only downside is the cost, which is more expensive than the majority of the other products, but it is worth it.

This android box will be my last and only box to watch live streaming. This unit will give you access to lots of movies and games to play. It's fast and has outstanding graphics etc.

This streaming device is very fast! I feel like it’s a little more advanced for a first time user but we’ve owned several. You can whisper and the voice recognition will pick it up.

I purchased this get rid of my $200 a month Directv bill and it has been worth it. Using this box to watch Hulu, SlingTV, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video has cut my bill from $200 way less than $100 and I still get to watch all the live TV I used to watch plush a lot more of on-demand. I love the game pad controller that comes with it for playing the many Android and Nvidia games. My son even streams his PC games to the big tv with this.

Nest cord cutting device out there right now. Went from fire stick/tv to this and you get what you pay in this device. Browsing super flagstaff and along with Plex and kodi apps and 4K with Netflix ..you can cut the cord! Took a star off cause google play store limited in apps(no amazon music/Directv now) not sure why?!

Excellent interface, 4K, and surround sound support. The latest update now supports Google Assistant! The open source design is great for those who like to write their own code.

I've always owned Nvidia products. I have had the Nvidia Shield Tablet K1 for over a year and was waiting for this to drop in price. Works great for streaming and playing games.

I have a Plex media server. My Samsung smart TV was not able to handle transcoding 4k 7.1 files well. This device is handling it with ease. Supports 7.1. I also have smart switches in my house. Since the shield supports Google Assistant I can walk in ask shield to turn on my TV and control lighting from the couch. I am not a gamer but does have great gaming options also. You can't go wrong with this device.

I have 3 Amazon Firesticks in my house at the various tv's, so I was hesitant to pick this up, but it was well worth the upgrade. It is much smoother and snappier at loading movies and other applications, and has fully replaced the Firestick in our family room. I've only just begun to tap into the potential this has for gaming as well, which would just be the cherry on the top of this great purchase.
