The Shield is a great product. The 4K support alone is worth it. Couple that with the openness of Android and it's amazing. Google Assistant and Google Cast on my TV is great, and really ties the entire Google Ecosystem together. At this price point, I'd question anyone's decision making skills if they go with an Apple TV or other streaming device over this. That all being said BEFORE talking about the gaming potentials. The Controller is great in hand and the Games available seem endless. This really does cover the every media need in my home.

The Nvidia Shield TV is a jack of all trades. Streaming? It has everything from Netflix to Pluto. Gaming? It has GeForce NOW and the Play Store. Specs? A Tegra processr, 4K HDR, apps load VERY fast, two USB ports, a very useful remote, compatibility with USB devices, Google Assistant built in.....it can and will do what you want.

While this is a big unit compared to a fire stick,roku etc...It does a superb job at streaming. The larger processor makes all the difference.

I really like the shield I use it to cut the cord with cable I down load APK’S it have a lot of space hook it up with my HD Home Run connect.

Best option for streaming media to your TV (Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu). I paired mine with an HDhomerun quatro to also stream OTA channels.

This thing runs PLEX greater than anything else out there. I use this thing in front of visiting family, and they're ready to get their own.

I love it. Pc steam streaming works. Showbox works. Games work. The subscription works and the system is speedy. It's a 5 star product except for cost. To pricey

I own 6 shield devices and this version of the ShieldTV is nice and small but it is important to note that it lacks the original remote control headphone jack for private listening. The game controller has been updated to allow google assistant always listening features. The only other difference that I noticed was the lack of memory card slot.

This box is great. It comes with Google Chromecast. You can stream a lot of content using your android phone. Best purchase ever!!

NVIDIA - SHIELD TV 16 GB Streaming Media Player with Controller - Black, way better than those cheap Android boxes. I feel you can do so much more than with the Fire Sticks or Roku's. Super fast, easy to add storage and it's good looking too! Nvidia keeps it up to date which I think is great also. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for.

I own 3 android TV boxes and this is definitely the best one. Free console quality games and more features than than the competition at a very fair price. I definitely recommended getting one but I'd suggest buying it from a more competent store than Best Buy.

Real reliable for media streaming and an ease to navigate through. Loaded with many great programs and programs you can add to it.

I love my Nvidia Shield! It's small but powerful. It's so easy to install apps such as Netflix and Kodi. The Shield also integrates nicely with my Google Home. It comes with a gaming remote and and smaller, regular remote. I haven't tried gaming on it before, but as far as steaming movies and tv shows, it works beautifully.

I upgraded from a fire tv 1st gen. and I am glad I did. The google ecosystem if more integrated into my android experience plus I love to play games. Side loading is a breeze and you can even use your own launcher like Nova is you like. No amazon adds or accidental clicks subscribing you to HBO now ( that happened) . If you can spend a little more do it. google assistant is another added bonus, that is why I had to get one with the always listening game controller. and its great for emulation . have fun

I love this streaming/gaming device,its so fast and its tiny, comes with a controller which feels great amd responsive,love the design and the shield its self look amazing,so sleek stylish and perfect,has tons of apps and games and the controller is better than apples. All the reviews on this thing are accurate. It’s got a lot of processing power. Nvidia online gaming in 1080p on my 4k tv is insanely fast and looks amazing! I bought this thing on Black Friday and have zero regrets. The only thing I don’t like is that the remote can’t be recharged like the controller. Still deserves five stars.

The best streaming box ever. Well worth $200.00 I will purchase 2 more for my kids with no hesitation. This is the box to buy.

Ease of use great for streaming the Kodi , or other products for streaming and game interface is also nearly seamless the product is dollar for dollar worth it has many functions and takes up such small amount of room for such a powerful little device .
