Does EVERTHING you need and more...use mine for watching m3u files, 60 fps 4k while my Roku "glitched" after 30 fps, voice commands are great downside remote sometimes delay but android tv app on phone or tablet fixes problem...highly recommend

Nvidia Shield is an excellent streaming box. There are other options out there for less than the Shield’s price point worth considering but, should you desire a 4K video streaming player that can handle some of your favorite games

A lot different things to get used to but once you figure it out it gets better.

It is the best system for streaming video content and online media. Gaming is also is great on this system. I would recommend a Bluetooth keyboard if you are going to use kodi, since it's easier to input words. I added a external hard drive to store extra content.

I bought this to replace my old G Suite streaming box who would not update. This is the best streaming box I have purchased to date. It is very easy to set up, it is very fast and responsive. The remote is sleek and cool.

I was hesitant at first simply for the price issue. I had the Amazon fire stick and it was lagging so much. I was initially going to purchase the Amazon TV box but then the best buy employee showed me this and I am just in love. It's so fast and easy to use. H

The Shield TV is hands down the best streaming device available. It is the quickest by far compared to other android TV boxes. There are updates frequently. Bottom line, there is no better box out there. It is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.

This thing is like the Firestick x 100. I'm amazed by it's abilities everyday.

9.5/10 - Still plagued with a remote that works and doesn't work when it decides - so far this player has handled every file I've thrown at it. Easy hook up and ease of use. If it only didn't have such a lousy remote it would be 10/10.

This is (IMO) the best device for most of your media needs at home. The speed, build, and quality of this device outperforms most other media devices currently out there. It is definitely more expensive than similar devices, but well-worth the extra pay. One thing to note...don't waste your money on the more expensive 500 GB model (just buy this 16 GB model and purchase an external hard drive...you'll get the same performance and end up with more storage space if you get a large external hard drive). Also, if you are not going to use the game controller (at all), save yourself some money and purchase the 16 GB model that only comes with the remote.

If you have a computer with steam or nvidia products you essentially have a killer gaming system now accessible on your tv. The controller is excellent and streaming is great but some lag with WiFi. I recommend direct router connections for no lag.

This is by far the best streaming device I have owned. There is so much you can do with this. If you are in the market for a streaming device look no further. Roku, Apple TV and firesticks are subpar compared to this beast!

This Streaming device is top of the line for speed and expandable memory

Bought this box to replace WDTV I have been happy with for many years. Recently upgraded to 4K TV and IMO, this box is a must have for any 4K setup. All the apps you would want, smooth streaming from my NAS plus Gamestream allows me to play games from my office PC in my home theater. Deducting one star for removal of the IR receiver on the 2017 Base model (2015 Base model had it; must get 2017 Pro model if you want IR).
