So small yet so powerful. Definitely benefits from an Ethernet connection when possible, but great without as well. Awesome if you're a PC gamer and want to stream to another room, but Ethernet connection for that is pretty much a must. Slick remote, great software, a really neat product if it suits your needs and are okay with the price.

It worked just as I thought it would. Quick and easy setup.

The Shield is great for streaming videos, light duty gaming (Borderlands 2 anyone?), and use as a home media player (Plex is awesome). It is not good for web browsing (bummer) or storing media on the unit itself (even with a USB HDD), it just doesn't handle it well, being sluggish and difficult to use for that task.

It's not perfect but it's pretty close! I've had Roku, chinese Android boxes, Amazon Firestick and FireTV...but the Nvidia Shield is simply the best!

Awesome streaming device plays games and streams with ease

Didn’t want to buy a PC just to run my media server so I took a chance on this. So glad I did. Well worth it. This thing reads all files and is incredibly fast. No lag even on my 10gig blue ray movie files!!!!

I really enjoy using the Shield. If you need a decent streaming device this is perfect. It is also superb for streaming my pc games to the big 4k tv. Played Skyrim on it first thing and the graphics were absolutely stunning!

This package is amazing capable of so many different things from streaming to gaming to graphic design anything can be accomplished with the power of Nvidia and including the controller is a great touch

This is the best streaming box for me so far. It's fast has great 4K quality and can down load any streaming app with ease. All APK's are very east and down load quickly. Straight forward and easy to use.

I use the Shield TV to stream both movies and games, and is great at both. I can play my PC games on the TV with no issues. I also like that it's fairly small, and doesn't take up to much space in my entertainment center.

Nothing on the market beats this device when it comes to Streaming media. Not crashes like other name brand devices. Nvidia Shield is the all in one device you need, this is also an excellent gaming device.

I've been an apple fan boy for years. However, with some of the new products being somewhat lackluster, I've been looking at other products. I recently changed my movie library from iTunes to Plex since I've been mixing my new hardware up a bit. In doing my research, it looked as if the Shield was the go to for power and consistency. Although, my apple tv could play my Plex library, it wasn't as fast as the iTunes library. I decided to get the Shield instead of the new Apple TV 4K, and this thing does not disappoint! Super fast, full HD, full HD surround sound and the apps run great. Google assistant is far superior to Siri as well. Apple tv is now in our bedroom and the shield is our new Entertainment Hub.
