The experience is so slick, so flexible and SO FAST. Everything just screams...zero lag navigating TV guides, app content, you name it. This is a very underrated aspect of an enjoyable TV experience. I now have an HDHomeRun prime and a 5$ cable card. No monthly rental of cable boxes, no fire TV boxes, no apple tv boxes. Don't even think about the extra $75 or whatever it is. The difference in user experience absolutely crushes the notion that they are too expensive. You will have zero regrets; I now have 3 of them...and have sold/returned all other equipment. A beautiful thing. You get what you pay for and the NVidia Shield is first-hand proof of it.

I got the MiBox when it first came out for 4K. However, it didn't work well. I got this Nvidia Shield TV to replace it. It can handle everything without any issue. Best Android TV so far. It's worth the money

Been using firestick to stream and omg this blows it outta water. Not to mention I have like 1000 roms now and can play those. Well worth the extra $$

This is the Cadillac of streaming devices! It is fast and is very configurable. Also the game play is great on this device. The only Con is the price. It is not cheap! But then you get what you pay for!

I've been very happy with my purchase. Not only can you stream movies and content, it also lets you play some pretty popular games like "Fortnite" without having to purchase any add-ons.

most powerful and fastest streaming box you can buy. Also if you are a gamer this is no doubt a no brainer decision. For someone who has never owned an Android device it was very intuitive.

This is the most perfect streaming device I've ever had it outperforms the fire stick and any other device that you can think of for the simple fact that you can play computer games and games that are found on Playstation Xbox one I mean I can go on and on so really for the $169 that they're looking for or the $200 in which the one that I got is well worth it you're going to be able to play the old emulators like the Second Genesis Super Nintendo long as you own the games you're fine but I mean even the games from the Google Play Store they even have those available so really you're coming out ahead just by getting this I even play World of Warcraft on it

Terrific 4K HDR streaming video on my Visio E-65 series television. This is the ONLY device right now you can really get that from I believe, if not the only, it is certainly the best. My TV has Cast built into it, but I can't even get HDR on cast. I can get it via Nvidia Shield. Really Great gaming options too. This was money well spent for me, and I already owned 2 Android TV products (Mi Box, and Nexus Player). This blows them both out of the water, performance wise. The one thing I really anticipating with this product is that in the near future, Google Assistant will be added as well, meaning I don't need to buy a google home device, so this increases the value of the product for me.

The device is great for streaming and playing games. The processing power this device has is very noticeable when compared to other streaming boxes. I played several games without noticing any lag.

Checks all the boxes. Kodi? Check. AMAZON? Check. Game streaming? Check. All in one place at 4k with HDR. Spend $50 on a cheapo now and keep upgrading, or spend a little more and enjoy top notch now.

This is the 3rd one that I have purchased to connect to our game room TV. My personal opinion is that this is the best streaming device out there. It is also excellent for gaming.

Pros: 4k HDR, processor, ram, ports, content, game controller and remote bundle. Cons: Price ($199), IR remote (not bluetooth or wifi direct)

I bought this to upgrade from the amazon firestick. I was absoutley blown away by the speed and the gaming capabilities. This product worked so good that I nolonger need cable..

With the power of Android mixed with that of Nividia, this little box is the best of both worlds. I generally root every Android device shortly after purchase but I haven't felt the need to do it with this. I am using it primarily as a HTPC after mine became too obsolete. Price vs power is exactly what I needed for a movie server. I already have a smart TV so the apps like Netflix etc aren't used much but for those times I am finished watching a movie,Netflix is just a scroll away. I could easily have just added an external drive to my TV ( it does work but it's a lil clumsy) The ease that the Shield affords makes it a smoother experience.

Bought this after cutting the cord and so far I'm not missing much. I like how I can add to the Nvidia Shield and the games you can play should make this a no brainer.

The speed and picture quality are excellent. Wired ethernet is a great feature as are the 2 USB 3.0 ports. My biggest concern is the lack of native apps for some of the video that I watch (DirectV Now) as well as some of the games that I enjoyed on my Shield K1 tablet. But these are minor as I can Chromecast to this unit from a PC.

Love the shield. I also have Chromecast, WD live+, steam link and Roku. I like all of these but this combines them all and then takes them to the next level! ...it'll play any format movie in your HD/flashdrive, it streams like a dream and has all the streaming apps I need including YouTube kids (lacking in a few other devices) as well as VidAngel. It also works as a steam link device and does this well, and Nvidia online games work awesome if you have a good connection (playing high demand games on nvidia's gaming rigs). So many games to use this with and I love that they include a few good ones free. We are loving this in our RV.

Very fast, I've tested several streaming devices including all the Amazon ones, etc. Simple to set up, and there is minimal lag. Layout is easy to follow and use by all in the house.

I haven't try another streaming device but this one does the job really well, the control for gaming feel a little bit cheap, the main control is simple and the volume is touch so it is good there, I use this mainly for kodi and it works fast and smooth the device it itself is barely noticeable is small and doesn't make any noice at all.

I purchased this since I recently upgraded to a 4K TV. Shield is great for 4K consumption. You can use it to play games, stream movies, and do quite other things with it.
