The Shield is a great device, I own the 2015 model and recently gifted the new device. The Shield is quick, receives updates often, provides multiple controller options, and also with the CEC features will turn most modern TVs on and off with the device. They are also doing a great job expanding the Google Home integration. Ive only experienced minor software issues within the Plex app itself and this not the fault of this device.

Lives up to expectations and then some. Plays anything you put on it and plays games. Not lag or buffering.

This thing rocks. I am just getting started and I am already impressed. It is fast and easy to use. Must buy!!

This box is perfect for all kinds of streaming. Anything you can think of. Works great with kodi. Super user friendly and set up was quick. Would definitely recommend for anyone that is into streaming

Nvidia - Shield TV 16 GB: Hated to pay T.V. service providers - i.e. (Dirctv or Comcst) in my area for Channels I didn't watch or couldn't understand, after talking with a knowledgeable "Blue Shirt" at my local Best Buys and going over the likes of "apple-TV" and "amazons fire-TV" well I am super glad I bought the NVIDIA system! with Nvidia TV, you having a choice of services via (Sling TV - PlayStation.Vue) & already having my Amazon prime, I can once again enjoy & watch network TV without paying for bloat & bull I never wanted and no one should pay for anything they don't need or want - Right! **Ace-Card** Google Apps + NVIDIA TV includes with 2 remotes! 1. Standard type, looks similar to my fire TV remote, much nicer feel and look! 2. Gaming type controller! very close to a ps3/4 controller you can down load games right from google play store or from NVIDIA, truly amazing that I can now play REAL RACING 3 or Zynga Tex Hold Poker on my 60in TV... Seems Most Google Apps are available and run perfect w.o. any issues or having to pull my hair out, looking how to online via you tube!

This is a great streaming device easy to set up and if you are a gamer this is device is outstanding.

I love my Nvidia shield. Best streaming device by far. I own a Roku stick, Amazon fire stick and Amazon tv. The roku is great for people who want simplicity. The fire stick and fire tv are great for people who want to do more on and on there own terms. The Nvidia shield Is a combination of the two and Imy not event talking about the awesome games you can play . Over all if you want to watch TV and movies on your own terms and play great games. This is the one to get.

I love this little box so much. It's way better than Roku or Apple TV. The streaming is better you can sideload a ton of stuff. The interface is very intuitive and I was shocked to find myself playing games on this. I used to game for hours each day but I stepped away from that as my work days got longer. When I checked ked out the games on Android I found I really enjoyed them. It won't replace an Xbox but it beats the heck out of farmland.

This is by far the best streaming device out there. Worth the money, especially if you use it for gaming as well.

I use this with Plex and I have not had to transcode anything since using it. If you are not a tech enthusiast, I wouldn't think that you would benefit from this over a highend roku for 130.

Dont waste yoyr money on a Roku, chrome cast or amazon box, the Nvidia shield runs curcles around the competition! Speedy menus, quad core. Works great with Playstation Vue, Hulu, Netflix and android games. This little device is even my Plex server and let me stream a mkv file of a blu-ray movie while watching a movie thru hulu. If you want a good all in one media device without the expense of a home media pc you cant go wrong with the nvidia shield.

The Nvidia shield TV box is a great streaming box and it's so much more. It's quick and responsive You can install Kodi, play Android games, retro games and stream computer games from your PC to your TV. You can even plug in an external hard drive and use it as a Plex media server. You'd be hard pressed to find any one device that'll do everything that this little device can do yet be so compact and draw so little power.

This unit does everything from gaming to watching 4K movies the controls that come with the unit are great and easy to link to the system game controller has a head phone jack hookup so you don't disturb anyone this is the best purchase I've made I did my research for about a month before buying and what better place to buy it at than your local Best Buy store.
