Fast and great for kodi and for playing games best android box out there

I'm not new to cutting the cord my wife and I have been cable free for 10 years. Over that time we have tried many different ways of steaming. From wmc pc's to Roku and everything in between. With the exception of Hulu not having an android TV app(for live TV) the shield is perfect I love the fact that you can stream games thru geforce now as well. Great device

The tv box loads fast videos and games. Small but powerful!

This device is super fast and extremely versatile. It can play pretty much anything you can throw at it. I love this box. It's totally worth the price tag. This is a must have if you're a cord cutter. I connected it to my new 4k tv and it is just beautiful. I definitely recommend it to anyone interested in the absolute best experience in streaming devices.

I've had nothing but problems with it so far. PC can't find the Nvidia Shield. (I see on the Internet complaints about this issue as far back as 2015.) FTP didn't work either at times. I finally had to hard wire them together (USB) so I get more reliable results. Kodi locks up at times. Keeps telling me I have a new Plex server when I turn on the Shield, even though it has been configured over and over. For the price I paid, I'm not impressed so far. When it works, it is awesome. It is much faster than my T95Z Plus Android box. Customer support, I have to say is excellent.

This box is absolutely awesome. 4k, gaming, you name it. Fast easy setup.

Has been working pretty well as an android TV box, I wish I played more video games because I feel like it's not being used to its potential.

It's the best box out on the market. Better than roku and firetv. Plus it has a good gaming library.

Have been using for over two years now after we decided to cut the cable. We watch Netflix, YouTube, and psvue on it. Easy to use, and I have also played emu games on it. Two drawbacks though — the remote controller now needs to be charged every week and wifi gets dropped every now and then and there is skipping and buffering. I don’t think it is my WiFi because my other devices work fine. Otherwise an easy to use solution if u decide to cut cable.

The best of the best can not go wrong with Nvidia shield tv I've played many of them by far this steamer packs a punch to the competition!!!!

There are very few "official" Android TV devices out there... And this is simply the best there is. I have 2 Xiaomi Box 3's and they are very good as they are. There just some issues with the recent Oreo update with the Xiaomis that prompted me to get the Nvidia. And having compared these devices, the Nvidia Shield is simply the better one.

I bought the Shield after reading on line reviews and information as to what can be done with this, using additional "add on" apps. I'm still in the learning curve with it but, so far so good. It works as well as reported all over the internet. I still use my ROKU's because they are hooked up to other TVs. I use the Shield to watch just about anything that I want to.

Having owned FireSticks, FireTVs, and Rokus, I can definitely say that the Nvidia Shield is the fastest and most responsive of the lot. It has a very clean interface and is capable of doing just about anything you want, especially if you are technical... Of course, it is more expensive at almost twice the price, but it is well worth it.

i use mine mostly for kodi. way better than any android box out there, and worth every dollar, if you are wondering what to get this is it!
