This works great and its really easy to set up. I didn't scratch my Kinect and it works perfectly with games. I've used it with two different games and didn't have an issue with either. I received this as a gift and was unsure after reading the reviews. I needed it though because I didn't realize how much space you needed for the Kinect. Now I use my Kinect with half the space!

I was extremely excited about this product and figured for the price and nice packaging that it would be a quality item that did the job. However, when I used it, the sensor could not find the floor nor track me properly. I took it off and was happier with the way the Kinect worked alone. *I play about 6 ft away from the Kinect (it's in my bedroom)

Popped it on and calibrated, but it wouldn't read my movements at all. Had someone else install it to make sure I just didn't do it wrong but it still didn't work. Don't buy this.

I purchased this as gift for my friend. He has the tiniest living room - he could only play 1 person at a time on the kinect for lack of space. After he started using the Zoom adapter he can get two people in the game and says it gives him more room to play in his current area.

It kept saying it couldn't see the floor. I moved the Kinect and TV all over the place. I moved over and over where I stood and kept getting the same message. It was a waste of money. What makes it worse is I bought two of them. One was a gift for my son.

Many like this attachment, I know two people who love it. Unfortunately it did not improve my setup. It actually made it worse. Depending on your space and furniture layout, this could be a very helpful add-on. Worth a try since Best Buy allows easy returns if it does not work for you.

I was immediately attracted to this product when I heard about it during E3. The promise of getting the full Kinect experience in my smaller than average living room was very attractive and I waited patiently to pick this up. Having many other Nyko accessories I was certain this would be easy and flawless, giving me the exact experience I was looking for. Rubbish. I have followed all directions, instructions and support website recommendations to no avail. The Zoom cannot see me half the time, though I am clearly displayed on the Kinect camera. Response is jumpy at best and even basic navigation is cumbersome and unresponsive. All of this is alleviated when I take the Zoom off and just cope with moving my furniture until a better solution arises. Final Verdict: Disappointing. Pass on this one.

I purchased the zoom for Kinect for after reading that you could use a smaller play area. Of course I didnt' believe it but figured what could hurt to try it, I must admit I'm more then impressed. Before the zoom i had to totally move my couch down adn around before the kinect would work properly. since installing the kinect yes it takes a minute or two longer to adjust without me moving anything , but once the game is started there is no problem. Because of the Zoom, I'm actually planning on buying more Kinect games. If I had to rearrange my furniture each time I wanted to play something I wanst' gon gto be using ti all all. Wonderful product.

Living in an apartment, this would be an ideal accessory for my kinect, especially since the couch in front of the tv makes the play space much smaller. Well the darn thing sees you but at the same time it doesnt, so the kinect cant recognize your movement or position always.

This thing SUCKS! It totally distorts the image and if you aren't careful it will scratch the sensor lens. I am a Best Buy employee and I am SO mad at myself for not checking to see how many of these things have been returned before buying it. I will be returning it tomorrow before I start my shift. I will also be warning all of my customers and co-workers about the crappyness of this thing. DON'T buy it!

Product works exactly as described as long as it is installed correctly. You still need an adequate amount of space left-to-right and front-to-back, just not as much as a Kinect without the zoom requires.

We have a very small living room and love to play the dance videos but was difficult because we would run into furnature. But now, we can be closer to the TV and have more room to dance.

the kinect could no longer find the floor whilst using this product. cant play a kinect game if the kinect cant tell where you are. big fail.

I've been waiting for this to come out since my living room only has the minimum 6 ft of required space between my TV stand and my couch. I attached the lens to my Kinect, ran through the Kinect calibration wizard and it works just fine for me.

Live in a small apartment and space was an issue. Got the Zoom and it works! Time to dust off those kinect game.

I got this for about 10 dollars less than used item at other stores. I went right out to the customer service desk and was helped promptly.

WIth this piece of equipment on my Kinnect, my Kinnect could no longer find the floor. Once I rearrange my room for what I normally have it for the Kinnect, it did finally find the floor, but when working the menu, it was like you were jittery or something, and the game play was also way off, this is a huge fail.

Kinect sensor doesn't recognize anything when the Nyko Zoom is attached.

While I thought I was buying a whole new kinect controller that was smaller it turns out this one fits over the existing bar and maximizes small space... Really helped the kids be able to maximize room.

Just awful. Without Zoom, real 1 to 1 movement, with Zoom, my hand kept "teleporting" (very choppy...blinking out, then reappearing). Very grainy video. It did reduce the room needed for Kinect, but everything else was substandard.
